Ganepark32 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Was wondering when/if there'd be a thread for this. Should have made it myself at the weekend but was a bit busy watching the matches. Anyway, I probably should have put a bet on the matches at the weekend. 3 for 3 in predicting who'd win and I wasn't far off of guessing the scorelines either (I guessed on Saturday morning that France would win 32 - 10, England 10 - 9 and Wales 24 - 21 so really not very far off). Will say that the Saturday matches were far from the best way to open the tournament. Italy didn't do too badly for 40 minutes but just disappeared in the second half (as usual). Still, I think they're slowly improving year on year and wouldn't be suprised to see them pull one over Scotland and possibly England as neither of them played well in their match, although England were marginally better than Scotland who were just atrocious. So many basic mistakes. It's going to hurt them if they can't iron those out and take advantage of the opportunities they get. At least the Ireland - Wales match was a good watch. Thought O'Gara had retired from international tests but apparently not. He should have been on from the start because Sexton wasn't doing all to great with the kicks and that could have made the difference. Do think it's between Wales and France this year. That'll be a good match on the closing weekend.
Magnus Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I love how I can't even tell what sport this is about.
