New Gaming Blog

Hi guys! You may have seen me post before about a gaming podcast I'd done. Well I have taken this further and created a blog page where all my gaming related news, reviews and videos are posted. I've figured out how to record video games so have some cool little videos up too.

If you like please check it out and any feedback you have would be very helpful as I'm always looking to improve it. Also leave comments so hopefully we can get some discussions going on there too as I'd love to hear from you guys.

I'm also on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube if you want to follow/subscribe/like. You can get to them via the blog page.

Thanks for taking the time to look. The link is:

I think the best (remaining optimistic) thing I can say is good luck! Game blogging is a difficult place to get yourself heard. Looks like you've got a good chunk of content and are putting plenty of time into it, which is the most important thing.

Quick criticism, at first glance, it seems kinda strange that you have the full bulk of your content "before the cut". That is to say, you don't have a "Read More" so that I can easily browse through the page of articles and click on whichever I'm interested in to get the full story. As such, the Sonic Generations review is totally dominating your homepage.

Thanks for the feedback Shorty. I'll be sure to sort something out so I can put a 'read more' option so as posts don't dominate the page.

Also we've got a few videos that have gone up not long ago if anyone is interested in viewing. Please do subscribe so you're updated on new videos :D

This one is of a retro playthrough of Super Mario Bros 3:

This is of a quick look at Rayman Origins:

And this one is our latest podcast attempt:

I'll try and keep this post updated with new videos and features. Thanks again for checking all this out.

The game is basically a port of Super Mario All-Stars which came out on the SNES Coolness Bear. All-Stars took the original Mario Bros, Mario Bros 2, Mario Bros 3 and The Lost Worlds and gave them an updated look.

Just a heads up by the way. Part two is now online :D

Two of my colleagues also recorded a new FanCensus Plays... video where they try out LA Noire. Sorry about the darkness in the video:

Hope you guys enjoy :D

I'd say definitely be a bit different, for example, I find there isn't many people who do free games as a market especially given there's a lot out there (even on Steam.)

I really like them, try and do colabs with people too, mix it up and get to know people on youtube!

Thanks for the feedback nightwolf :D We're definately looking into doing colabs with other people. This week we'll be doing a podcast over Skype with a girl who has her own Youtube channel and posts video reviews. Looking forward to hearing what she has to say.

Just posted up a new review by the way. Seeing as this is a Nintendo site, I thought you might be interested in my take on Boom Street. Tis a fun little game but not without it's faults:
