EEVILMURRAY Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I'm looking for a USB desk-ish light so I can do some fine detailing modelling and shizzle when the sun goes down. I've seen this here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-USB-Light-Notebooks-Laptops/dp/B003ZMC2II/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1312574314&sr=8-5 Which looks like it'd do the job, but does anyone here have one which they could recommend?
Sméagol Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Why a USB light? I just use a regular light.. One with a plug. If you want something more flexible.. Well, I don’t have any experience with them, but I can tell you what I’d want: [Gorillatorch]
Jimbob Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I got a USB fan, not that it helps in this situation. USB lights are alright, i have seen some in action.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 28, 2011 Author Posted August 28, 2011 Why a USB light? I just use a regular light.. One with a plug. If you want something more flexible.. Well, I don’t have any experience with them, but I can tell you what I’d want: [Gorillatorch] Why? Because my plug sockets are fulled used up. And I'm not risking using a fourth adapter. Main reason is I sometimes paint/draw near my PC and when the sun goes down the main light isn't much help to get into the fine detail (mainly for painting) and there's only so much opening a blank canvas in MSPaint can do. Those Gorilla shizzle things look nice though.
