Is 63oC, to hot for a x600pro?

I was playing half life 2 before and it forze on me, Twice.

I checked speed fan and temp was 62oC,

is this an o.k temp?, or far to high.

It's warm, but not extremely hot. The X600 series seem to have more problems with lockups though, I saw one just crash while rendering Windows for no apparent reason - so it could just be your card that's crap. Hope that helps :hmm:

My first guess would be to update drivers and patch Half Life 2, but i guess you might have already done that

You can never go wrong with an extra case fan, just to make sure everything's nice and cool, they can be had for about £12 in PCWorld

(even though PCWorld is EVIL)

Whats your processor overclocked to? Also, i'd really like to see what Windows actually calls the dual core processors. Could you go to system properties and take a screenie?
