Posted December 11, 2005 Here's a great video review of Mario Smash Football; http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=8656&pl=game&type=wmv Gameplay: 9.2 Design: 8.0 Overall: 8.7 Points to note; - Fast paced gameplay (that has an extemely competitive edge to it!) - Simple effective controls (like all of Mario's sports titles), that won't take long to master - Although controls are simple, there's plenty of room for creativity - It's a little wierd seeing the Mario characters (that you've grown up with) acting SO agressive towards one another! - Electric fence around the edge of the pitch to keep the gameplay moving (no throw-ins) - A player is awarded with an attack item each time they are unfarely taken out (tackled when you don't have the ball) - Can turn off the attack items - Different Cup tournaments (sometimes the difficulty level between them is abit unfair) - Stadiums are a little similar/uninspired - Unlockables - Good single player - Fantastic multiplayer (must buy/made for multiplayer) Here's the Great game intro; http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=8649&pl=game&type=wmv Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted December 13, 2005 I got this. It's a little difficult to win some of the final cups, Nintendo's idea of challenging is to make it physically impossible to win the match. Alot of games you win by luck alone. Awesome on multiplayer though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted December 16, 2005 you can unlock a new team the robot team, every player can make a smash shot, unlike other teams where only the captain can make it it's a very good multiplayer game, and very fast paced, you don't know if you'll win even if there's only a second left.
