Dante Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Wes Craven's new film: In the sleepy town of Riverton, legend tells of a serial killer who swore he would return to murder the seven children born the night he died. Now, 16 years later, people are disappearing again. Has the psychopath been reincarnated as one of the seven teens, or did he survive the night he was left for dead? Only one of the kids knows the answer. Adam “Bug†Heller was supposed to die on the bloody night his father went insane. Unaware of his dad’s terrifying crimes, he has been plagued by nightmares since he was a baby. But if Bug hopes to save his friends from the monster that’s returned, he must face an evil that won’t rest… until it finishes the job it began the day he was born. Spiritual successor to Nightmare on Elm Street?
Diageo Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I feel like I watched the entire movie already after that trailer.
ReZourceman Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Watched upto 1 minute in and didn't watch any more due to what Diageo said and the fact that I like Wes Craven, and like this type of film. I would like to watch this film.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Is it me or have they already spoiled a lot of potential plot twists in that small summary?
Paj! Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 When will people learn never to watch trailers or read summaries?! :p That's how to keep the full enjoyment of films intact. Just look at the poster/guage reviews nearer the time. Trailers these days ruin films.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Both trailers and summaries ought to be spoiler-free. I knew trailers weren't, but summaries? That's new.
Beast Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Wes Craven is a legend and so I will automatically watch it even without watching the trailer (even though I did and it strongly reminds me of A Nightmare on Elm Street).
