stallion Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I was thinking of picking up a couple of broadband adapter for the GameCube. So I could play multiplayer double dash over LAN on different TV's. Has anyone done this? I was shocked to see how much they go for on E-bay, I wouldn't think they would be as in-demand as they are
mr_bogus Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 It's a pity the Wii's backward compatibility can't support BBA. Would love to try out MKDD & Kirby on 2 telly's or using warppipe, without paying some ridiculous amount for an obsolete network adapter.
stallion Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Ive just found two on amazon for £8 each thats better than E-bays £25-£35. LAN Doubble Dash here i come
tapedeck Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I reckon you should post some vids and some discussion about it. We may even get a sweet little article out of this for retro freaks

Be sure to post about how you find the LANning. I've never tried it out so it will be fun to read about your double television antics.
stallion Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Sure I would be happy to do a review/article all I need to do now is Wait for my two adaptors Extra copy of Double Dash Steal one of Zechs Merquise spare GameCube's
stallion Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 (edited) Just an update, I got my first Broadband Adapter in the post today and it was new! Still factory sealed how nice I've just fitted it to my GameCube. It's interesting how the GameCube has 3 serial ports at the bottom. I have my GameBoy player connected to one and the Broadband adapter in the other, I wonder what 'Serial Port 2' was intended for? Edited May 7, 2009 by stallion
