ReZourceman Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 This is ridiculous. Pc down stairs has a wireless router. I have not changed any settings what so ever, and all of a sudden pc up stairs now will not connect. What reason would there be for this. When attemptin to connect it does not get passed "waiting for network to be ready" this is huge fail please help. Am so cry. X x x
Nolan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 DO A BARRELROLL I'm sorry for that. Okay, the first thing to suggest is, turn off your router/modem (usually modem rather than router, but both won't hurt) wait approx. 10 secs and turn it back on. Test the results and post back here. IDK if your router/modem has a on/off switch, but if not just unplugging the AC adapter is fine.
Rummy Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 What internet, what router, hows the upstairs PC connect, is it wireless? Have you tried it with a wire? Would anyone else in your house have fiddled with things? A barrelroll is indeed highly advised.
ReZourceman Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 *Sigh* I had been told that it had already been unplugged as that is what usually happens, but alas I was lied to/mislead. All working now, thanks fellas.
