Emasher Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Well, my wacom mouse isn't working that well, so I'm thinking I might just buy a gaming mouse. It needs to have at least 4 buttons and probably be under $75 cnd. I don't want a wireless one. It's just the Logitech software that isn't Mac compatable, and that isn't needed or all that usefull. Konfucius Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 I have a Logitech G5 and a MX518. Both are great for gaming, the MX518 uses an optical sensor and the G5 a laser. They are both pretty much equal in performance though. I even feel that the MX518 controls a bit smoother however the G5 offers better customization options. All USB mice will work the same on any platform, you may just not be able to use the software that lets you customise buttons. I've decided to go with the Razer DeathAdder, Mac Version. After searching around a bit, most sites are saying its the best gaming mouse for OS X (and possibly the only one with full support for it).
