ReZourceman Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Okay, so I want/need a sat nav soon, and I want to get a TomTom as the two times Ive used sat nav they didnt compare, and the TomTom was 10x easier to use and just a more pleasent layout and experience. So I want a TomTom. Can anyone recommend one? I see this one Tom Tom ONE UK and ROI v3 Same one is at PLAY.com also (Wow said "one" a lot) so is this good? Anyone got any advice?
Caris Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Don't get a Tom Tom. Get a Garmin, much better. My mate works at Halfords and he says that Tom Tom warranty's are terrible and they don't use as good mapping software. I got this for my birthday a month ago and love it. Really really good.
ReZourceman Posted June 25, 2008 Author Posted June 25, 2008 Hmmmm £125, thats not too bad. It has like voice tell you what to do and such? Certainly cant argue with inside info. £170 RRP, not bad. Looking at the features, looks very good for the price. Also battery life 5 hours = more than TomToms.
Caris Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Haha yeah it does, tell's you about traffic jams and speed cameras too. I have the UK Maps only one, it's like £115 in Comet, Currys etc.
Coolness Bears Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Sat Nav scares me... My dad got a rental car once that had it, which spoke out the directions in a woman's voice and when you didn't follow her route she seemed to get really angry... My advice don't get one, you don't know where you'll end up.
