mcj metroid
hmm after reading this thread it seems like I have been figghting for a different reason than most wii owners.. I want original games for the wii.I usually don;t care how they look or who it's aimed at as long as it's good. I wouln't care if the babiez games turned out to be epic after all. But most people here i swear are looking for more mature games you're a nintendo fan for christs sake whether you like it or not these games are what their systems specialise in. You grew up playing cartoony games why bitch about it now? we are likely NEVER going to get games like halo 3 and half-life on the wii just like ps3/360 isn't going to get mario galaxy and metroid prime corruption. I hope you see where I am getting at I found it kinda hard to word.
Hellfire
You just figured that out? Most bitching comes from the fact that Nintendo fans want Nintendo to turn into Microsoft or Sony and accept the fact that they don't want or they care less then before about what Nintendo is selling. Although to be honest, I don't see much of that in this thread.
Ramar
After watching the trailer I think the game looks quite promising, but I can't help but feel it looks like something Disney have forgotten to draw. Hopefully I won't find myself waiting for SM:TV to start after watching the next trailer.
Ren of Heavens
The visuals aren't worth mentioning, but Wii is not about graphics anyway. Finally a promising new IP that's exclusive to Wii.
Hellfire
Look, let's not exaggerate on the visual front, the game clearly has a high polycount, at least in that they're investing graphically.
Tellyn
And you can't really comment on Wii screens anyway, games always look better in motion.
mcj metroid
You just figured that out? . No I don't post THAT often. I would have said it a long time ago otherwise. People started getting like this back in the gamecube era when the nintendo is kiddy argumenents were everywhere.

DomJcg
After watching the trailer, I have concluded that this is not what people are making it out to be, it's going to be a 6/7 ish out of 10, and it showed like 5 seconds in motion, the rest was stills and some old timey film effects. Hellfire
We'll be here all week folks. After watching the trailer, I have concluded that this is not what people are making it out to be, it's going to be a 6/7 ish out of 10, and it showed like 5 seconds in motion, the rest was stills and some old timey film effects. I have concluded that anyone who can conclude anything about the game at this point shouldn't be allowed to conclude anything.

I have faith in the guys working on it, Insomniac are awesome. Even if they are owned by Sony.

I can conclude that i'm not gonna buy it =] when is it due for release anyways? I always assumed, that like a movie, a trailer meant imminent release. Not for a long time, the game is set for 2009 and it's not gonna be this fiscal year, so Q2 2009 maybe.
Zechs Merquise
Well, I have to admit I am disappointed. It's not what I was hoping for from Capcom. I wanted something a little more mature and dark. I love my Wii and I have plenty of games, but occasionally I just yearn for an FPS or a game that's a little more dark with slightly more mature content. I have Metroid and RE:UC, both games prove the Wii can do mature and do it well, and most important the games will sell. As a long time fan I feel a little let down. MoogleViper
Haven't watched the trailer yet but this sounds a bit like Ratchet & Clank style. Which is good I liked R&C. I just hope it has a decent storyline and not too kiddy. And Fatal Frame :PAlthough there is NMH, RE4, Manhunt, Scarface and Godfather. Where are the epic RPG's? Guest Maase
Well, we have to admit that the Wii still hasn't a decent J-RPG (by J-RPG, i mean a classic style one, or at least something like FF12) Still, we have a lot of good RPG's in the market for the Wii. No one's arguing that, but what the hell does it have to do with what we were talking about? It's like people can't wait to say "hurr hurr Wii has no epic RPGs", keyword here being epic. Gizmo
How many decent J-RPGs are there on any console these days? Off the top of my head, I'm counting Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, and then firing blanks.
