david.dakota Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I wasn't entirely sure where to put this thread... How reliable are incentive sites like this one? It all seems rather too good, does anyone have any experience of these? If you'd like to help me out, sign up through this link. I've already signed up, but not sure what to expect...
Ten10 Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Waste of time. If you can get the required amount of referrals they do send you the item. But you might find it difficult to get 5ish friends to do the same thing.
Tellyn Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Do your friends just have to sign up to the incentives site?
Ten10 Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 Well basically you sign up. Then you have to complete a paid for offer, which might be something like sign up for love film or join some bingo/poker website. When you have done this they eventually receive confirmation from whatever offer you signed up for. Finally you need to refer friends to the website using a referral link linked to your account. As they sign up and complete offers it is imaged that they are paying partly for the item you want. According to what you go for, the more people you need to refer. E.g a DS might require you to refer 5 friends, but a laptop may ask for 20.
MoogleViper Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 When the nano first came out by brother did this but using his own cards, his girlfriend's and our parents'. 5 referals for £10 on Betfair so he got a 2GB nano for £50 and then sold it on ebay. He also made a bit of money back by using the betting money on betfair. EDIT: I've just opened an account for a PS3. I've done the LoveFilm offer and I'll offer it out to relatives.
Shorty Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 I used one of these years ago to get a 20GB iPod. It's quite difficult to do it legitimately, you need to find five to twentyfive friends who either think they want to try and do it as well, or will be happy to just help you out.
MoogleViper Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 If anybody wants to do it then be extra nice to me and use this link. http://consoles.freebiejeebies.co.uk/50839
gARYgREATIE* Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 hmm I've recently started up a new email account to try out those 'money for online survey' website/scams. Haven't had much luck yet but I bet there's one site that might give me money. Doubtful, I'd steer clear of all things of this nature
blender Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 I think its very devious to put a referal in the first post... and then make it the topic for discussion the only way we can know what you are talking about is to click your referal link.... davidredge's reputation has suffered as a result
