Vista shouldn't be a problem, I have it working as well, ads removed and all. well it downloads the installer pack and then comes up with a list of the components it is going to install and then says failed to connect next to each of them,

It's a slightly older version, but works fine with me. Don't download the rest of the Windows Live components, they suck anyway.
