Haver Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Does anyone know where I can listen to the Seahawks-Redskins game tonight? Yours, Ben
LazyBoy Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 No idea, I wouldn't hold out hope though. Try iTunes radio, there's eleven or so sports stations on that Going to be a damn fine game. Might put some money on it. Washington are getting three so i'll take that.
ReZourceman Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Ah yes, Im afraid I dont know either. Tis a shame, as Im an absolutely HUGE hockey fan.
Haver Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 I found one: http://www.triplexespnradio.com/index.shtml Apparently the coverage starts at 5:30 GMT - that's four hours of build-up! (It's a WR radio though so they'll be pumping pro-Skins (Gentile?) innuendo all the way through)
LazyBoy Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Just called my local pool hall and got them to show the Redskins game, so my dad and I have a table for 4 hours. Going to be a good night.
ThePigMarcher Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 You could try this link just before gametime , one of those stations is usually broadcasting. I used to get most luck with the KXL feed. Failing that , the game may appear somewhere on Sopcast - or you could log into the chatroom/forums at Seahawks scout about an hour before kick off and someone somewhere will usually provide a link. Thankfully , I have the luxury of Sky so no messing about tonight (for a change).
ThePigMarcher Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Thats has made my weekend. I have been a nervous wreck all day and probably woke up my entire estate when Trufant ran back the 78 yard Interception. I can now relax till next weekend.
Haver Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 I've just been watching the highlights on NFL.com, and my God, the under-reaction to the Trufant return by the guys on my radio feed! You would have thought it was pedestrian! Hopefully I can convince the guys to get the Sky Sports package when we get back to uni. The Jag-Steelers game was pretty good too. Maurice Jones-Drew's kickoff return was insane.
ThePigMarcher Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I can only assume the under-reaction by the radio guys was due to the fact that because Moss gave up on the play so easily there may have been a flag on the play , for a split second I wasn't sure myself - unless it was a 'Skins friendly station you were listening to. If you can convince the uni guys , go for it - I usually only upgrade during the NFL season then once the Superbowl is done I go back down to the basic package. Really enjoyed the Jags-Steelers too , although I was really struggling to stay up (I should be used to it by now) and missed bits and pieces when periodically crashing out.
