Oxigen_Waste Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Have you ever heard about the West Memphis 3 case? Basically, 3 little kids got killed and mutilated in 1993, and they convicted 3 teenagers of the crime, without proof, DNA, or motive. They did, however have contradicting evidence to the fact that they had killed them. Apparently that didn't much matter, as they were all convicted for life, one of them to death, just because they wore black and liked heavy-metal music. They are still in jail. There's a documentary on the subject, called Paradise Lost: Child Murders At Robin Hood Hills, wich has a sequel. The trial is still ongoing to determine wether or not they are the culprits. How the fuck could something like this happen, and why isn't it undone yet?
Mundi Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Well i sometimes wear black... and i listen to Heavy-Metal Oh shiii- WATCH OUT WORLD! I'M COMING FOR YA!
Oxigen_Waste Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 Oh, and the kids were also raped.
Oxigen_Waste Posted December 21, 2007 Author Posted December 21, 2007 It's all because of videogames. A Marilyn Manson videogame. That'd be fun to watch.
Ellmeister Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 Thats disgusting. Reminds me of "The innocent man" by John Grisham. True story about another wrongly imprisoned man >_>
weeyellowbloke Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 It's America, this kind of stuff happens constantly. I remember a few months ago there was an article in Weekend magazine about the law they have in some states that allow them to imprison teenagers permanently for the rest of their lives. Quite a few interviewed told their stories a number of which really didn't deserve a punishment as harsh as never being let out. I remember one of them was a woman who caused the accidental death of her abusive husband in an argument and another was a guy who got implicated in a murder simply for pointing out the victim.
triforcemario Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 It's all because of videogames.I personally blame Tetris. How those blocks fall down and evaporate rows of blocks is just horrifying, and Nintendo shouldn't be forcing little children into playing it.
