ReZourceman
Rules 1. Only one post per member, per page. 2. Only one paragraph. 3. Top post of every page must have the full previous Chapter/page. 4. Each page is a Chapter. 5. This is book one in hopefully a series. 6. This should be taken with a certain amount of seriousness. 7. Respect the story so far. Dont retcon anything unless someones said something uber ridiculous. 8. If you plan to post, post immediately saying "Will edit in" this effectively "saves your spot" so you dont spend a while typing it up, then three posts come at once. Of course, you have to edit it in straight away. 9. Fantasy theme with a modern twist. -------------------------- Roofus and the Shadow Demon Chapter One - Roofus It was a cold autumns morning. Smoke poured out of a flat settled above a London street. An 18 year old boy was turning in bed, as the sunlight hit the curtains, illuminating the room. He rose up and rubbed his eyes, glancing around for the clock. He finds it, and checks....6:05am, 1st October, 2007. Roofus placed the clock down, and staggered out of bed towards his computer. He pressed it on and walked out of the room to use the toilet. When he came back, he opened up a web browser, turned the TV on and then went to get some breakfast. Pop tarts ruled his heart. Roofus had a routine for the morning. It was about the only thing in his life that was organised. He sat down to his desk, and looked at the computer. The homepage was set to a website about old artefacts and the legends that surround them. This wasnt something that Roofus had been remotely interested in, until recently...because Roofus was currently hiding something from everyone. Something that was about to become very important to more than just Roofus.
jayseven
... Is ashmat's to be taken as serious enough? Sorry it's short _________________________ It never mattered where his mind was because his hand had memorised the website through and through. The mouse clicked away like a too-fast clock as Roofus let loose dozens of tabs, each displaying its own item of interest. To a casual onlooker, his selection of ancient bric-a-brac would seem random and haphazard, but Roofus could see their connections.

He checked on the forum quickly, nothing new, apart from a couple of idiots argueing over some inconsequential crap. He was about to hop over to check on the artifacts on sale when he noticed a thread, about half way down the page: "A group of budding adventurers needed"

McMad
The Roofus realised he was on 4chan, and only a fool would take anything on 4chan seriously. Unfortunately Roofus was a fool, he wrote down the address that accompanied the advert; "A group of budding adventurers needed" and set off on what he believed would be some 'light-hearted fun'. They never did find his body...
Roostophe
...they never found his body because he regenerated, being the Timelord that he was. Rufus returned to life looking exactly the same, but with a different nose, as he broke it while he regenerated. Now he looked like Steve Bruce, poor bastard. AshMat
He then proceeded to light up a fat blunt and chilled at his home boy Leroy's yard for the rest of the afternoon, until a knock at the door..
