ReZourceman Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Invincible #75 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- My favourite bits were the bits that happened in between the front cover and the Science Dog back-up.
Happenstance Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 (edited) Im just watching the first episode of Avengers now. You can really tell theyre channelling the movie characters, especially Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. ...Also whats up with Nick Fury's hair??? Edited November 6, 2010 by Happenstance Automerged Doublepost
ReZourceman Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Ah, his hair is amazing, give it 20 minutes. I practically applauded.
Happenstance Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah I see what you mean now....although I still dont like it. Just pick one version of Fury and stick with it! Also I hate Iron Mans voice, its just so whiney!
ReZourceman Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Haha, I don't mind so much. Its so meant to be like RDJ that I like it. I also like his hair. Like a merging of 616 and Movie/Ultimate, I like that it has its own identity. Upto episode 5 or so now, its sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Happenstance Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 To be fair you seem to think nearly everything is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Its kind of lost meaning now :p
Paj! Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Been admiring the awesome (mostly) comic-inspired art of this guy on DeviantArt. I'd love to see art like that get put into comics more..even just on covers.
Happenstance Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I finished watching all of the Avengers episodes. So far it seems like its gonna be a pretty good show, I still dont like Tony Starks voice though (I know its supposed to be Downeys but he never sounded whiney!) One thing I do like about the show is: The cameos and groundwork they seem to be laying. So far ive noticed a person reading a paper about the Punisher and the cameo from Wolverine in Captain Americas story I also like that its possible we'll see Winter Soldier in it at some point with them keeping bucky on the rocket.
ReZourceman Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Last one I watched was the Black Panther/Pym episode. I think I've watched out of order somehow though. I assumed "Iron Man is born" was the first, then checked IMDB and it said Breakout Part 1 and 2 were the first....but that Iron Man is Born was aired before. Very confusing, but I'm gonna watch Breakouts next. Not sure which episodes I've got after that. But yeah, I think its quality. JL never really clicked with me (probably as I'm not amazing in tune with the wider DCU) but I absolutely love this, having kept up with pretty much all of the MU for practically a decade.
Happenstance Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I think I watched them the same way as you but I did have the same problem with some listings claiming the Breakout episodes were first. Having watched them though it doesnt make sense to have Breakout first, all the episodes before it are basically setting up that two parter.
Paj! Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 I love Batgirl. One of the titles I look foward to reading every month.
ReZourceman Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I hate Comic Book Resources. These have been going all week and I havn't seen them cos' I don't always check Newsarama. Anyway. WTF.
Paj! Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 New teaser for "Age of X", the random alternate reality event no one wanted or seems to care about.
ReZourceman Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I care. The same way I "care" for contracting the aids.
Paj! Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Well that could be a lot. Unless that's what you're saying...but I doubt it. I think your joke just flailed. :p
ReZourceman Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 We should all meet up and go to Batman Live LINK
Paj! Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 *cringe* You can tell it'll be shit. I'd think that Spider-Man one that'd been in production for like a zillion years would be less awkward. I'd rather just go and see Wicked.
