My current one keeps on signing me out so i'm going to have to replace it I want one that will work out of the box and I won't have to mess with opening ports. As well I will need the router to run the internet on my windows vista and ME computers thanks for all the help

However its worth it, plus following a guide over here its quick and easy. You just gotta now the ip address etc. It's got wireless aswell if you want to use that. It should be cheap now, I got it for £60, a couple days later it went down another £10 to £50.

This might not help but if someone has a router in that list then it might help. With my router, that website helped. I got my NAT to open, which was the annoying thing, and then I could join in Crackdown with Caris, previously it wouldnt let me.
Ant-Shimmin Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 I have been using several Netgear routers over the course of the past year, moving from different houses and connections etc. Never had a problem, Tier-One on ebay sell a very good router for just £15 it lasted me 36 Months
Marshmellow Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 I personally like D-Link routers... I have DGL-4300 that says it boosts gaming and stuff, and I've had no problems with it. Didn't have to open ports or anything. Works really good!
