EEVILMURRAY Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 There's a game I had when I was a wee nipper - Conflict Freespace: Darkness Rising. I can only see it on Amazon for 98 and shit, Assuming it can't be found for XP is there a way to make it compatible?
McPhee Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 You could dual boot Windows 98 with XP or run 98 in a virtual machine (i'll find a good guide if you're interested). As far as getting the game to run on XP, you have no chance. If it won't run in compatibility mode then it won't run at all
Shorty Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 My French isn't great (read: nonexistent) but it sounds like this patch is for making it work on xp?
Marshmellow Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 I'm playing a Windows 95 game on Vista... Without patches or special instructions... Unless it specifically says it will only run on 98 which in that case is just weird...
