Blackfox Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Hey guys and girls, Decided to update my headphones and get some decent semi-audiophile ones. I'm thinking of heading in the big ones, that cover your ears (head-, not earphones) since I generally reckon the sound quality is better, and blocks out a lot of background nose on the train. Plus they look a little cool Anyway, just looking for some suggestions. I'm a poor student so I'm not looking for anything bank breaking! Thanks.
Calza Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Go for canal headphones, they look pretty much the same as normal earphones but they go deeper and give you a better sound. They usally come with different 'buds' so you get a more precise fit and more comfortable. Here is a very good pair Sennheiser CX300 or you could get a mac Of course you could go more expensive with Shure and their earphones but I doubt the difference is £100 worth.
Wesley Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 I got these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-MDR-XD200-Stereo-Headphones-Silver/dp/B0007TBJYA/ref=sr_1_66/203-8283951-3794344?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1180040994&sr=1-66 They're alright. They don't actually look quite like that though... if you want I could put a picture up of them.
