Excelle Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I have to ask, as I keep seeing it and it's bugging me. On the spine of Wii and GCN games, there's a green triangle. What does it represent?
triforce_keeper Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 It's the colour codes for different countries. For example Spain have a pink triangle.
Excelle Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 Ah, that makes sense. I saw a game with a red triangle in a GAME bargain bucket the other day, so I guess it must have been an import someone had sold on.

Cube Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Yea, I think it is due to countries the game can be sold in. My Splinter Cell: DA has a Yellow Triangle and the message 'This product has not been rated by the BBFC and is not suitable for sale in the UK' on it (I got it from Play.com, the disks inside have a BBFC rating).
flameboy Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 It's how many languages and countries is is meant for sale in, green have all the major european languages with english as the default, but then my copy of Project Rub is yellow and doesn't have all the languages, it only as english.
Rummy Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Wow, I never even knew it was different colours and regions and stuff! I thought it was just a little touch they threw in, awesome to know it though, thanks tk!
