Stocka Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Never had it before, but recently I got my PC back after it got fixed and lots of things need to be installed etc. when I go on youtube there is no sound, and yet I have Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 installed.. help please
Meik Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling/updating Flash Player?
Charlie Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 You know the latest version is version 9? http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
fanman Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Is the volume on the youtube player turned up? (Sorry if that sounds obvious )
DCK Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I have that on my other (me parents') PC as well, it's really weird. It doesn't work on either IE or FF and Macromedia works fine. I suppose the only thing that helps is a complete reinstall.
Bogbas Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Do you have more than one sound card (e.g soundchip on the motherboard+ sound card)? Or are you using USB headphones or USB speakers?
Guest Jordan Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Yeah, make sure that your primary sound device is correctly set up in Windows, that might be the cause if you have some weird USB headset.
Stocka Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 Ahh that was the problem. Thanks very much guys!
