  1. There are girders, not sure about the other thing.
  2. ready when everyone else is
  3. Worms is pretty cool, just remember to create your own team name in the options screen for extra laughs. Although I just found out that some names are blocked and will be replaced by generic names (mine were "God" and "Jesus"!) If anyone gets a funnier team than Caris's "Kiddy Fiddler" team I'd be surprised though!
  4. 0800 587 1102 What's up?
  5. Makes sense, that's around the time the BT video on demand service starts too, and i thought that microsoft and bt were in partnership to bring it over here.
  6. Visa, American Express or Mastercard. Which sucks to be honest. You can of course buy MS Points cards from shops/online stores using whatever payment method the shops allow. I've heard some reports that the controller doesn't work as well as the traditional keyboard/mouse scheme. Is it ok to control?
  7. So what's the verdict? I'm at work till 5:30 but I'll be straight on it tonight!
  8. Keep it up, the ending is pretty cool. Plus there's always co op!
  9. So you're going to make an online business that buys and sells stock?
  10. What area? What idea? The problem is, if I was an expert brick layer I couldn't just decide that I'm going to build a shop and start a business in it and expect it to be sucessful. You need to approach the start of a business with the idea of what the business does to make money, is there a significant market in the area of choice and is the competition too fierce. If you create a "me too" online business that just emulates one of the sucessful companies (amazon, google, ebay etc), expect it to fail. If you're a web designer by trade, consider being a designer for hire, many small businesses will give you a decent price for a prefab website to promote their wares. Design the best looking site you can to promote your work, show as many examples of different websites as you can and get businesses to email you with their requirements for design. Then promote like mad using things like Google Ad-words.
  11. Unless you have an original idea that is Ip protected and difficult to copy, I wouldn't bother to be honest. It's too risky.
  12. I can't remember if these are offical rules or not but the Microsoft guys were compiling a list of "marketplace commandments" and I'm sure one of them was that no one can release premium content that will give a user an advantage over users without the content. So if it IS an official rule then i doubt they could charge for it (and if they did i'm sure there would be a bit of an uproar about it)
  13. Cool. Coming sooner than expected AND cheaply too. Baggsy being Leonardo during co op!
  14. Well he didn't say it in those exact words but that's what he meant! Won't not having the select worm option mean the game will be a little more strategic though?
  15. Just a few points mentioned in a Team 17 interview on the Major Nelson podcast: The holy hand grenade and other missing weapons were taken out in order to balance the game and not turn it into a WMD-fest You can name your worms to personalize them There will be downloadable voices for the worms fairly soon that they couldn't fit into the main download
  16. Cos I made it up, just an example of what could be done to extend the game into a franchise
  17. How many sequels of Megaman have there been and how many times has Dr Wily/Other main boss died at the end of the games? Truth is, Capcom can shoehorn a sequel into pretty much any game regardless of the previous games plot and conclusion. Example: During the events of Dead Rising, an off duty policeman takes his daughter and wife to the nearby "Willamette Theme Park" and discovers the infection has spread further than anyone realised. Can he rescue his family and escape the zombie horde without also becoming one of them? Well, you get the point!
  18. Does anyone NOT have a hard drive these days? This is only good news for me because the arcade download limit has increased accordingly.
  19. Well if everyone is getting into Burnout revenge, I might as well put that down as my next rental on SwapGame! Expect me to have it on Wednesday.
  20. I completed the SP yesterday then spent some time building up my skill achievements. Driving is pretty easy to get by just running over the baddies in the 3rd island with the SUV. Firearms is just using rocket launchers over and over. Strength is just kicking everyone. It's also worthwhile to find a boss with loads of easy baddies and just do the time trial over and over again using whatever weapon you need to build up. I'd concentrate on getting strength up because I think that adds an extra life bar to your energy every level (lifesaver on some of the bosses!)
  21. Count me in if you see me online, stupid work sometimes interferes!
  22. I agree, I've only got the final guy to kill and then i've finished the story but i'll still be replaying it to try and get as many orbs and achievements as possible.
  23. just played multiplayer gears of war for the first time in a long time. I thought this game was all about cover and flanking? It seems that most of the ranked matches are just rushes for the best weapons then the usual circle strafe while firing at the enemies with a shotgun. It really disappointed me as i was looking forward to some cool tactical play.
  24. Yay! Hope it's good... We've got to organise a tournament at some point!
  25. Great minds think alike and all that. I just played the demo of alien hominid though... too hard for me to enjoy the full version + i've got crackdown, enchanted arms + lost planet to complete
