Nope, didn't receive it either. Oh well, only 5 (almost) unplayed 3DS games + Heroes of Ruin to kill time with then.

I was maybe going to buy the XL, wasn't quite sold, I was contemplating. But when I saw the price being between 160 and 180 pounds I lost interest instantly. Didn't Nintendo's president (can't remember his name) say that Nintendo had learned a valuable lesson after they were forced to drop the initially 3DS price. Now a year later they release a device without cradle and charger and then ask for 160-180 pounds. Yeah sure they've learned. Not that it's a scientific poll in any way, but currently, of those of you who voted in my little Letterbox survey, almost 65% of 3DS owners will not be getting an XL model. The poll is still open btw so feel free to cast your vote if you haven't done so already. Anyway, I'm thinking whether Nintendo again will be forced to reduce the price if not enough people are going to shell out that amount of money. Perhaps by the end of the year we can pick one up for less than a 100 quid?

Yep, I read that too. What puzzles me is this part This still seems cumbersome to me. With my PSN account I can go out and purchase another PSP should my old one get lost, break, or get stolen - go to settings - add my existing account details - and voilá - everything I ever purchased with that account will be available to me instantly, no need to send a police report to Sony tsk tsk. I also like that I can use my purchased DLC from PSN on five different devices. Nintendo is way too greedy.

New trailer available.

I also pre-ordered from Amazon and I received confirmation a few hours ago that the game's shipped. So perhaps you'll still get it by tomorrow. DLC is not supposed to be available in the eshop until tomorrow which is the official release date.

If you don't have a visible "Reply" button above the letters you've received, then it's most likely because you haven't sent a letter yourself. Try creating a letter or two (no need to actually send them, just save them), and you should then receive a new letter from Nikki telling you that you now can reply to letters.

I wonder if they've changed the volume switch to prevent the user from accidentally turn up the volume during gameplay. Anyone know what I mean?

It's strange. This game became my instant fave 3DS game after I had played through only the first two chapters. By the time I had reached chapter 8 it had become my least favourite 3DS game. I just don't find the use of the gyroscope fun at all, it's infuriating. Damn, I almost hate this game with a passion now haha, if only the demo had included one of the gyroscope chapters. Aye, I have to agree with you although I've only finished Elite Beat Agents mission 1 and 2. The controls feel much easier without the use of gyroscope thus making this game much more fun and engaging for me at least.

Just read the gamesradar review. Essentially: YOU'LL LOVE Rhythm gameplay easy to grasp Contains some of the best songs in gaming history A love letter to Final Fantasy all fans will enjoy YOU'LL HATE RPG elements are fairly superficial Daunting amount of things to unlock Running out of songs you haven’t played

Hehe, that's true. Touché I guess.
-
But if you try to complete it with all four different characters it'll be around 25-30 hours of gameplay (or more), and then there's the online feature adding several extra hours. That's not short, not in my book at least.

@edza Thanks. For a second there I thought you were being sarcastic hehe, but you wouldn't lure others into buying a bad game I'm sure so I'll be keeping an eye on Goooooooooool 2012 Europe and quite possibly pick it up eventually.

So looks like at least four of us are going in blind. Who'll lead?

I just watched Trees Lounge directed, written and starring Steve Buscemi. Excellent film, truly enjoyed watching it.

You mean Alien (the first one) is the best one, I take it? I agree 100 %.

Just had a look this morning. Looks like @Welsh is in control having the highest scores on Iron Man, Fantastic Four and Captain America. @Dazzy leads the Blade table. I'm warming to the Fantastic Four table, I like the blue ice theme and the relative simplicity of this table, maybe it's become my new fave. I began to read the manuals for each table though, they're longer than the bible! So I skipped that and am just playing and trying out things on my own, I may return to the manual later though if things don't improve. Edit: Yeah! I am number 1 in the Team Force high scores category among my friends and #4 in the world. Actually, the world's best Marvel Pinball players listed at number 4 to 10 in the Team Force high scores category are all N-E members.

If you're interested, here's an interview with WayForward from E3 (Source: nintendojo.com).

So is anyone picking this one up? I never played a Kingdom Hearts game before, but after I tried the demo I am very interested. How long does it usually take to complete a KH game?
-
If I buy a NA model will it then work with my 3DS EU adapter? Thanks.
-
Oh man, can't wait for this one. Gorgar should be included I hope. Regarding Marvel Pinball, I like all four tables so far, Captain America probably being the fave. But all four are very entertaining. Marvelous game.

Hehe If you still find the game worth the 500 points after 4 hours of gameplay then please come back and I'll consider buying it. No seriously, the game does appeal to me since I played the real thing as a child, but I'm just afraid some things are best kept as fond memories. I'm still thinking about getting it later though, probably. You didn't find the ambassador game NES Open Tournament Golf a proper golf game? It's really good and lots of fun if you ask me.

No, I'm not really into the FF franchise (or at least WAS, I think now I could be), but the demo and people here talking about this game made me absolutely interested. The video review sealed the deal. In my defence I did order it less than five minutes after I watched the review. Thanks for posting the video, although, I didn't get any reference to any previous games, I'm afraid. I've bought around five different FF games to my spouse for her PS2, PSP and DSi, but never played them myself. The video clip you posted though looks gorgeous, fantastic, absolutely amazing. Perhaps it is time for me to try to get more into this franchise?

@edza Thanks for the recommendation. I'm interested in the game, but as you also mention, the price is sort of a problem. I'm also struggling to find space for more DSiWare, how many blocks does it use? Have you tried it yet, is it fun? It would also be interesting to know if you can play it with d-pad and face buttons instead of the stylus (the trailer kind of gives me the idea that it's possible)?

How long what, oh you mean that measly 25 mill record of yours. tsk tsk.
