So, that's it for another bi-monthly voting session, and with that it's clear to see that .... I've anticipated the result being so, and have started the game a week ago to get ahead of the push to finish it before the end of August. We'll be recording the PodPals (The Messenger) episode on the first Sunday in September, which happens to be the 6th. And, we'll love it if you all would share your experiences of what makes the game great or downright annoying (if you're that way inclined), especially true of @drahkon who finished it a long time ago. Day 30 - Personal Gaming Tradition Having a record of selling everything I own, it’s been hard for certain games to become a tradition. Link to the Past, I’ve played the most, but hardly a tradition. More recently, every morning I have a quick blast of Tetris 99 in bed to wake up the brain cells, it never works.

[Let’s Play: Together] Borderlands (Part 6) Old Nintendo Gamer & Son plough on through the Borderlands. A recording mess-up made our Skag Meat collection disappear, but a Crazy Earl story mission is left unfinished.

Day 29 - Nicest Graphics/Art Style Quite a recent game here, but I love the look of the remake of Link’s Awakening on the Switch, and hope they do more in this style. Even an RPG.

Will look into that Featured Channels, didn't know about it, but thanks, will return the favour when I get it working. [Let’s Play: Together] Metal Slug X (Complete) Old Nintendo Gamer & Son use copious amounts of credits to plough through the entire classic coin-op blaster. That worked much better than the original even though it all had the same settings???

Wow, just had my first Content ID Claim that shut down one of my videos (Edith Finch Part 4). It includes an excerpt of 'The Nutcracker, Op. 71, Act II, Scene 3 : No. 13 Waltz of the Flowers', and WMG, KM Records took umbrage and shut the video down. Wankers, haha. Anyway, YouTube has a tool that can apparently silence the music only and leave everything intact. That'll teach 'em if it works.

I played through 2 classics this weekend gone, with my son, and the first of endeavours was Metal Slug. Day 28 - Favourite DLC/Expansion What’s better than good DLC? Free, good DLC. And, Wargroove did just that with its Double Trouble expansion.

Day 27 - Best Boss Battle Sloprano from Conker’s Bad Fur a Day. The fight itself wasn’t particularly challenging, but the whole scenario is hugely memorable.

Day 26 - Favourite NPC Time for a character that rocked my world. Spontaneous Bootay. From South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The whole game makes it very hard to choose who’s the best, but I laughed a lot during this fight.

Day 25 - Online Multiplayer Being a Nintendo only gamer, the most recent games are by far the better, allowing a stable and effective online. Yes, it’s missing all the other functions, but dropping into an online match of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is fast, painless, and a hell of a lot of fun, every time

Day 24 - Best Final Mission Inside. Starting off a generic, but great puzzle platformer, the ending is at another level of Akira proportions. Fantastic last act.

Day 23 - Licensed Video Game Great picks so far. South Park is just like the cartoon, humour is brilliant, hard not to pick it. Rogue Leader, nothing I’ve played comes close to making me feel like I’m flying an X-Wing. However, Goldeneye 007 just pips them to the post due to the sheer number of hours put into it.

About 17 minutes in there's a 30 second snippet from John Carpernter's Halloween. John wants all the money from this video because of it, greedy bastard, plus that equates to zero.

I think it’s a glitch. I play Mahjong often enough to understand the rules. I’ve come across circumstances where I could easily win and it won’t let me. I’ve taken screenshots and showed them to others I play with, and they agree it was a win situation, so I take it the game is broken in some circumstances.

Day 22 - Favourite Playable Character Link.

Pushing the missions along a bit further in Borderlands: GOTY Edition (Part 5). And if anyone is interested in seeing what Friday the 13th: The Game is like. This video pretty much encompasses the basics of how to be a survivor. Weapons, traps, locking doors, dying, whoops.

Day 21 - Game that takes you back to your childhood Many hours every weekend spent with my two younger brothers on Street Fighter 2 on the SNES.
