Portable Monster Hunter never needs online, because the 4 million japanese players out there are having fun just playing the game with other randoms on the buses, trains, offices etc etc... it saves capcom a lot of money too. However if this does come out over here, I am very interested in seeing what Nintendo might want capcom to do. Even perhaps adding online play or make it easier for us people to play using something that allows us online.

I am loving the whole fact that Nintendo and Capcom are going to go all out in trying to get the western market into this (Seriously, I bet this was one of the biggest trump cards that Nintendo used to get this game)

I also hate he idea of seeing vader say 'Nooooo' that scene alone made RoTJ a great movie the scene where you see him watch his son and then the emperor killing him. You didn't need to be told that vader was deciding right then and there on what to do, his love for his son or the loyalty of the emperor, that silence was needed. Watch out next edition I am sure Vader will say 'Noooo I shall not see you destroy my son so I must kill you to save him' or some crap like that.

It depends what type of bad day it is, like if it's because of some asshole giving me a hard time then I just go all out boxing, which could go from 5 min to a whole 2 hours, no clocks in the room where my weight training room is. If it was a long tiring and just plain bad day I usually drink half a bottle of scotch on the rocks, or just have a cold shower and lay on the bed for an hour or two. There are other ways I deal with bad days depending on what exactly goes on, but those are the 2 main things I do. Oh and green tea rules, have it every day now, helped me with weight loss as well.

Just to give you guys a notice on the screen, it has something even the Wii didn't have...proper SHADOWS!!!! Game is going to be awesome, and yeah why wouldn't they want to release the game over here? It's got a fanbase on the Nintendo systems now plus selling a million copies in the Eng version is fantastic.

I was, but now that this news of it being online I have to kind of hold back. I need to know what the english nations are doing with this game. me mates and I have the money and enough hours for a holiday to go over to japan and be part of the whole release buzz, but now...we are still talking about it we all want to go to japan anyway but thought the release of DQX would be an awesome time. So yeah only time will tell

Now that things have settled I am just going to ask here, if Dragon Quest X keep adding more and more content each month and such, would you guys be willing to pay an online fee? I prob would, I would sacrifice my Xbox live gold account so I can have the money to play this I am really interested in seeing what the US division of Nintendo are thinking right now

I will not be surprised if Nintendo put advertisement over here for this game. Since Nintendo successfully made Monster Hunter 3 Tri the best selling Monster Hunter game in the western region. If anything, I am now seeing more of a different trend to this series, Nintendo and capcom still want the supporters for the series to continue buying it and waste 500 hours on it, but I think the one market they are trying to get into is the Nintendo fans market, as you can see with Tri, many people on this board are now lovin the series and want more

I am not trying to say this to try and defend Nintendo (Shit even I know they should have had another analouge from the get go.) But anything that Japan makes and shows a screen of always looks big and clunky, I am 100 sure that it perhaps my be even a better grip with the 3DS then it was before maybe I'm wrong, we will soon find out though won't we

Yeah S-E is very well known for that this gen, after the mess of FFXIII and FFXIV. Both games on the best hardware out there but still played like shit.

There has yet to be a game made by Horii that sucks, and he really wants to make an MMO game, I say let him have it. He deserves it after making 10 awesome games.

See saying that is not fair, Ni No Kuni has been shown countless times and was announced a fair while ago, DQX just got announced and only really one official pic has been shown. Also charm doesn't go through graphics alone, DQIII, DQV and DQVII had more charm then DQVIII. As someone on another forum said The game has months, it's going to be polished and it's going to be presented as a God tier for Wii games.

It's fun looking back into the history of DQ and seeing what it became. DQI DQII DQIII DQIV DQV DQVI DQVII DQVIII DQIX It's one of the reasons why I love the series, it never was about the graphics, but was more about the charm, it's perhaps the one of the few 3rd party games you could be fooled into thinking it was a game made by Nintendo. Each game tries to out perform the one before it and tries to bring new features into each game, as well as usually pushing the limit of not only the system but the genre itself. It was thanks to DQIX that my standards for RPG's on handheld have risen so high.

Zelda MM would not be the secret title, Nintendo has to announce a game that will explode the market, it's the main intention, Zelda as popular as it is among gamers like ourselves, just doesn't have the power that DQ, MH, pokemon and a side scrolling mario game has. I am highly think it's MH3Tri G, it's just what the 3DS really needs

Gaf complain about everything, if it became the same as what DQVIII you would have people happy while other people complaining about how it's the same old shit over and over again. I think people should have been expecting something like this since the release of DQIX, the signs were there in that game, so yeah, I am one who is not shocked but super fucking excited!!!! :D:D:D
