the stuff about casuals was a little too subtly tongue in cheek to previous arguments in this thread - but i do feel they need strong marketing to make this work I get that, but they cannot sustain a business with WiiU level hardware and a price in line with arguably better hardware on offer, nobody will buy it. not to mention public perception, look to the Xbone and how it took a hit due to public perception, they need to turn both those issues around. A competitive price is required to make the product desireable, whilst also acknowledge that its key audience dropped around £350 previously on a console thats not had the support or longevity it should have had.

Whilst i appreciate and understand why the price could be that high, i think its an exceptionally dumb move from a company that is rapidly loosing market share in the console market to rivals (no matter how they say they aren't) AND in the mobile market to smart phones. Ideally Nintendo need to take a hit on this console and subsidise the price to a point where its lower than rivals and then really really really blitz the marketing, like they did with the DS, celebs everywhere! fuck it have as many Xfactor winners and rejects as they can do to appeal to 'filthy casuals'

That ruddy monitor puzzle! went through the raid tonight and got to the end and one laser was still left! what could have gone wrong? oh thats right we had to return to orbit because during the arch priest fight it kept randomly killing three people in the safe zone rooms, so obviously it screwed that monitor we'd activated before the fight This fuckin game and its glitches! they really should let the monitors checkpoint

Look i thought we were in an open relationship and could see other people! know that i love you, its just meaningless raiding, honestly Managed to convince so lapsed destiny players to rejoin destiny and cobbled together a group, we are shit though, only managed one complete raid by chance. We are almost as bad as we (NE b-team) were on atheon with that last Aksis round, someone always goes down and we fluff it. Any Tips for a hunter set up? mine seems to die very easily with the captains at ll367 - max armour and agility, should i put more into recovery? or just gitgood I can't tonight, i won't be in until 10pm, i'd be up for it just about any other day, i've got two characters i can raid with, just need to finish the story with my Titan and i'll have three

Has anyone else got the raid scout rifle? is it just me or is it too slow fire rate wise for the Aksis fight (2nd phase)? I'm been using the IB Pulse Rifle and it seems awful by comparison, since you can't precision hit skanks

So if you are using them in Iron banner use them every other match?

What really? that i did not know! Well my hunter is 365 then! i've got a spare artifact and with a moved ghost i'm sorted

I did but somehow i'd not considered that...... Well maybe i just need a hunter artifact (i have spare warlock ones to infuse into it) and another 365 chest to infuse on my Titan I'm more raid ready than i thought! Aye, there'll be @kav82 out of retirement otherwise we'd almost have the old B-team raid squad ready

Strikes only drop gear up to LL 365 too, the only things that can drop higher are the skeleton key chests, the Archon's forge, Exotic engrams and Legendary engrams - i had some 366 ones decrypt on me yesterday so i've got a few pieces that are now 366 The heoric Siva strike is areal grind to get 365 though, you get two blue drops from the boss only, which CAN be a higher light level than your overall level, 9 times out of 10 i'd get something 1 level higher, sometimes it would be up to 4 light levels higher so i made some gains. In the end though i got quite a few spares that went in the vault to level up other characters Got my Warlock to 365 Hunter is 349 - held back by a LL200 BLUE artifact and a 340 ghost Titan is 359 - held back by a 340 ghost and 340 chest piece So i'm pretty set for raiding now when slots are free.

I would be around tomorrow if there's some raiding

I usually pop one just outside the boss room or then I did start popping them once the strike had started to see if it made any difference Think the only times I didn't pop one was when I was on the sion flayers strike, so twice out of god knows how many strikes It is odd because the other day when I restarted Destiny I got an exotic from a crucible match, which I think became the new exotic machine gun (which I'm told not many seem to have drop yet-maybe that used my luck) and one during the sepiks strike that turned into exotic hunter boots

How much have they gimped the three of coins?ive dropped 30+ I've the past day and a half (yesterday's 2 3 hour blocks of strikes) and another 5 this morning and got not one single exotic Still light level 362 now

I think it's the anomaly in the archons keep area, it takes you almost to where you fight the final boss of the quest and you've to destroy a splicer walker The quest is pretty hard to get through solo (or was at 330) there's a few missions where you have to hold some exposed points from endless mobs Worth it though Spent most of today in Siva heroic strikes, managed to get 358 LL and got the sepiks perfected sniper and it's awesome this week with solar dmg Should be Raid ready pretty soon now and I've got enough spares to level my titan and hunter to already 345 light - it's really great how you get each piece of armour from the quest book all at 340-350 Did a few strikes with someone who'd managed to get the Raid exotic pulse rifle! Oh my god it's epic! It has a chance to have siva swarms on kill and it's end perk guarantees them on precision kill! It's like a mini galahorn

I'd say the drip feeding is making us desperate, but then we've had two drips of info over how many years? the Thirst is real

Doubt i'd be around for a raid this week, but i should be up for one next week. I've got Friday off so i'll be grinding up then. currently 349 and one upgrade off of 350 looking at the bar
