Yes, and i can get it from work for about £25 as a result. I've not spent more than £20 on a PC game in YEARS though, i don't intend to start now :p Last year i got the Orange Box and UT3 for £18 on release day and The Witcher for a tenner. I was planning on waiting a few weeks for the usual price crash that PC games suffer
-
You can, you just can't rely on Strength. Leveling up pretty much everything else is ok
-
That was unexpected! So much for the price crashing quickly due to bad sales Guess i'll have to bite the bullet and get this (in a few weeks when i have nothing to play again).

HDMI will give you a sharper and more stable image regardless of the resolution. Well worth the fiver for the cable tbh (unless you use the optical port on the 360, then you'll be needing the official dongle)
-
You wrecked your character? I didn't realise our actions in your game influenced my character so heavily. Heck, i was picking up evil points from your guy's actions, before i actually did anything bad :p He went from 80% good to 80% evil! Rather oddly though i'm still 100% pure despite all of that mindless murder

I'm still getting it, just not on launch day. Money restrictions rather than not liking the demo. I can get either Mirror's Edge OR Banjo and it was the Mirror's demo that impressed me more.
-
Cheers for that, i've been after that weapon Brightwood Tower is crawling with hard-ass enemies though, not gonna be easy to get that sword!
-
Likewise, it wasn't the best game of last year but i got quite a bit of enjoyment out of it. If i can afford it i'll buy the new one too. It's wierd, in a year i've completely forgotten how to play the game. Was getting my ass handed to me by bandits!

He does now....

Same here. I liked the demo, i'll probably enjoy the game but the competition this Christmas is too strong for me to have a pre-order on this at the moment. I'd place it 5th on my list right now, after Gears, Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge and Naruto but it could slip further. CoD5, Prince Of Persia and Rock Band 2 could easily overtake it.

LittleBigPlanet official thread. Top levels and artists listing.
McPhee replied to Choze's topic in Other Consoles
Choze, why have we got a second thread for the same game? PM me with a reason why i should unlock it please -
Well my must-buy list is now looking like this; Fallout 3 Gears Of War 2 Mirror's Edge (replaces Banjo, the Mirror's demo impressed me and i don't see me buying 2 games in one day) Left 4 Dead Maybe's; Quantum of Solace Endwar Guitar Hero: World Tour CoD5: World at War Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 Sonic Unleashed Rock Band 2 Naruto: The Broken Bond Prince Of Persia That is one crazy Christmas period! Under normal circumstances i'd buy all of those on release day! I kinda want a new Wii game too so i can justify it's place under my TV, i've not bought a single game for it since i bought the console back in March! Anything worth buying from the Christmas releases?

I got the Orange Box for £20 on release day. I'm always suprised at how expensive Steam is tbh, i thought DD was supposed to make games cheaper due to lower costs?
-
You can't kill it with an area spell. I tried it the first time i was in the Crucible and it didn't work sadly Then again that was with a fully charged force-push. Maybe something like Inferno would do the trick? It's a little more powerful
-
I'm loving this game! It's stunning!

It depends on the provider and the length of time since the phone was purchased though. On most networks contract phones can be unlocked after the contract period ends. Vodafone is (AFAIK) the only exception to this, they'll let you unlock the phone whenever you like. I'm not sure what the system for PAYG handsets is, i think they'll probably want some money off you.

You're ok with the new generation of Blu-Ray players. They're all profile 2.0 and retail at around the £200 mark. If the BDA decide to add features these players *should* be able to take them too.

It literally is what Vista should have been, they only released Vista due to delays to Windows 7. I think they made the right move there though, they've learnt a lot through Vista and won't be making the same mistakes in 7.

Hats off to your bro, he's made you his bitch

I've not had a single crash. Barely had any trouble tbh, others have had more.

I WANT this game so badly. After the Fable 2 debacle i'm waiting to see what price work have it in for, i paid an extra £20 for Fable 2 due to impatience
-
This is pretty much what i wanted to see in Windows, so i'm happy

Molyneux wants to bring together core and casual
McPhee replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That's the point Molyneux is making. Fable is far away from being a casual franchise, but Fable 2 is a step in the right direction to making that type of game accesible. He's saying "why are we making new games for a new audience when there's nothing wrong with the old ones?". Playing Fable and thinking about all of this stuff it is clear to me that he's not just spouting rubbish.
