  1. It's definately not the latter.
  2. How many hours have you spent trawling through shite? Any tips on the kind of shit one puts on their profile?
  3. Actually I've dreamt about non-existent people; they soon change into actual people though.
  4. Haha! Not really. I'd certainly perk up if a bird gave me some attention, but that wouldn't necessarily mean I was snared; though maybe for a lay (but even that obviously depends on what she's like). Either way, guys are easy to "snare" in comparison to girls, or at least a much larger amount are.
  5. That's why I barely use it; though anyone who comes on here can learn I have a PS3 and such. If they read this post they'll also learn that my morality doesn't rule out "murder" or even torture under certain circumstances however, and so may think twice about breaking into my home.
  6. As a bloke, I can assure you, we're not hard to "snare". That's a bit of an exaggeration: s'pretty good, somewhat amazing, but in hindsight, over-rated. Only need it 'cos your bollocks demand it.
  7. Maybe I'm pessimistic because I already have;), and maybe such sites are just full of: chavs, people who ignore me, chavs who don't know what a condom is, people who seem to expect too much....
  8. Caught up with a good friend I'd not seen/spoke tp in around 3 years about a week ago: It was almost like we'd only not seen each other for a while. I was definetely best friends with my ex when we were together I'd say just-friendships are better in a sense; they're a lot easier, less stressful etc: or maybe it's just a question of males vs. females?
  9. I'd write a long thing like Fused, but I've not the patience. Over the years, in each generation, I've changed the company I have the console of (or which my primary console is when it comes to the current Gen) : Sega -> Sony -> Nintendo -> Xbox
  10. We were kids at the time. Back when I was only allowed online for half an hour a day, during the days of pay-as-you-go dial-up, and Hamtaro was on Fox Kids (I don't know why I remember the last bit).
  11. People get fucked over; and if you're not careful it'll happen to you. We can't police the world. "Death solves all problems - no man, no problem." - Not Stalin At least they're doing something about overpopulation. I also think it's only the Han which this rule applies too; though I'm not too sure on that. Germany being a prime example. That's the world over. *coughfrancecough*
  12. Aren't there only 4 DVDs (per film) in the DVD version of that?
  13. I can beat that: Neopets. Went to stay at her house in another country for two weeks a few years later. 4 years or so actually a couple. ............................. Then the mind-fuck of a breakup.
  14. How do you even chat up someone online? I mean, I met my ex on the internet, but we were just mates for years before getting together; now we're not even that:(
  15. Fair enough. I'm not going to argue over a 10 - arguing over a point or so out of 10 is silly because "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"; which is why 100 point rating systems are silly. I however do not think I've played/seen anything which I'd round up to 10. I am very picky; though I haven't quite refined how I rate things either. I would still have a problem with people using 100% to rate something however, as opposed to thereabouts.
  16. So? Why not ban it altogether then? Why don't we ban everything not necessary for survival? Why should one man have such control over the rights of another man who is doing no-body any harm?
  17. Because it's a number which exists. It's there because 100% does exist, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a film or game etc which even near deserved it. There's a reason all the chemical companies trying to destroy your immune system aren't allowed to utter "100%". Percentage < I can't read most of that either
  18. Public: People are causing trouble and they're drunk. Govt: Okay, instead of doing something helpful like fines and prison and castration for those who cause problems, we'll make it so anyone who looks under 40 years old has to have ID on them to buy alcohol, tobacco, pieces of paper, or officially sharp metal. Public: Great, that sounds like it'll stop the 16 year old trouble makers for sure. Public: Wait, I look under 50! Can I have an ID? Govt: Sure! That'll be £100 upfront please. Public: Oh.... Public: Hey; there are still drunk trouble makers, but they're over 40 - and the 16 year olds just got alcopops from the fridge, (and sharp metal from the drawer a young child has access to). Govt: Oh; we'll have to try making alcohol more expensive then. Then they wont buy as much. Public: But then I can't afford any, especially since I just paid you £100, why should I be punished? Govt: We're trying to clean up the streets like you asked and whinged about. It's not our fault you can't afford to have a drink every now and then anymore. We're alright though, we earn four times what you do. "We need ID if we don't want any trouble buying alcohol etc" There was a time when you didn't need ID, and the country worked fine...
  19. You're putting too much thought into what I've said and are mis-cross-referencing my different opinions of different rating scales: I'll try to be clearer:): A 10 would be rounded up from something I believed deserved more than 9.5: A near perfect film. I don't believe any film I've seen even nears an 100%/10 anyway. I'm not going to give 100% to a film/game which doesn't deserve it just because it's difficult to reach: It makes a farce of 100%: like Obama getting a Nobel Peace Prize. Sex is insanely more enjoyable than film, but I wouldn't give any of those experiences near 100% either.
  20. I'm well aware of all that, and agree. I wasn't being an arsehole. I just don't have time to explain such basic shit to someone. Well I'm sorry that you find knowledge and awareness so offensive. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." And I rarely appreciate the use of straw-men to attack people, whether used sarcastically or otherwise. Well it's not overly interesting enough to look up anything about; and The Troubles and other NI politics get boring fast. I am aware of this point. The idea of the ID Cards was that they'd be used for more than just Driving Licences and Passport style uses however. And I used to be pro-ID card by the way. "Papers Please"
  21. I don't know much about NI bar a few bits - the media here tends to ignore you. All I know is that Sinn Fein seems to gain seats every election.
  22. I'm sorry that I don't have time, nor the patience to educate you on as simplistic history as the USSR: the only comparison with your own argument I believed you should be able to get. Would you understand if I replaced the word "Soviets" with "Nazis" in my last point?
  23. @ jayseven; Dude... you're reciting Guardian propaganda. Wow: I can name shit papers too. Also, it matters not who has our data, the UK Govt. have the worst track record when it comes to data safety. It would help if we could get out of a two party system: the Sun didn't like that idea. No. I'm not going to run through 100+ years of history with you, including the Reichstag Fire, aswell as a lessons on modern Britain, Liberty and Democracy etc. No. Every little helps, however. Are you one of those people who believes the Soviets were trying to control all their citizens? Using ID papers as help? If so, your argument fails at the first hurdle.
