We need to keep Glynn in the house. He is the only decent Welsh person. Especially after Imogen turned to the 'dark side'.

Angels & Airwaves - We Don't Need to Whisper
Fierce_LiNk replied to CoolFunkMan's topic in General Chit Chat
Yeah, you pretty much nailed it there, Platty. Metal isn't exactly the only good type of music there is. How can you say that it isn't music? -
F Zero GX - Have you unlocked the AX tracks?
Fierce_LiNk replied to david.dakota's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I've loved the music in all F zero games so far. GX had a great soundtrack, imo. -
Man, that trailer owns. That fight with Ridley looks well sweet.

This didn't need to be bumped.

I'm a little dubious about Official threads. They do serve a purpose, and i can see an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage: The whole board doesn't get cluttered with the same topics being repeated over and over. All the information goes into one thread. The disadvantage: This thread becomes cluttered if the thread really takes off. If the thread has 4/5 pages, it's fine. However, if a thread has 30 pages, it becomes a problem. Therefore, i think a resolution is needed. For example, in the official Zelda thread, it may be worthwhile for someone to take their time and create a post with all the basic information that we need to know. Examples being a post with trailers, pics, information about controls. Take a look at my Wii everything you need to know thread to see what i mean. Good idea, bad idea?

My Night as a Pirate (YARRRRRR) *56k warning
Fierce_LiNk replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
YArrrr. That be true. -
To be honest, i would say No to a remake. Although i have not played this game, i believe that many consider it to be up there in the category of greatest games ever made, along with ocarina of time. The beauty about games like these is that they were relevant to gamers at their time of release. Yes, the FMVs were great at the time, but they look bad now. So what? We still remember the memory of them looking good. We all remember the introduction to Ocarina of Time exactly the way it was. A remake would just tarnish the image that some people have of the original. These games still stand the test of time, as many gamers around the world often still play these games, or still hold them in high regard. Therefore, i say leave them be.

My Night as a Pirate (YARRRRRR) *56k warning
Fierce_LiNk replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Trust you two to lower the tone. :p Cerys got very drunk that night. A few of us got a taxi back home that night and we all sat in the back singing In the Jungle, after i promptly started singing the "a wimba way a wimba way" part. Was sooo funny. The taxi driver was laughing as he drove us home. We gave him a quid extra tip for putting up with us. That was half the fun. The other half was getting Cerys back to her flat, which meant 4 of us manouvering her down a path and up 2 flights of stairs! Then, we had to take Ben back to our flat, as he was also drunk. -
Interesting stuff. I wonder what they have up their sleeves.

Lmfao, we met another group of pirates that night! One had a t-shirt that said on the front "why are pirates called pirates?" On the back, it said "because they ARRR!" Me and Ben kept talking to them when they walked past and Hi-fived them. -

This is still in Brighton. I haven't come home yet. Alistair and Ben both look stones. -
You can only learn by making mistakes. If they buy a PS3 and trade it in a few months later, then that's no fault on your part. Let them be. :p

Excellent ideas there! This has great potential if they can be creative enough.

In my opinion another mistake by Sony
Fierce_LiNk replied to Nintendinosaur's topic in Other Consoles
A stupid mistake to make. The beauty of having friends who play games is that you can have meetups. Sometimes they come over and bring their collection, sometimes you go over their houses. It really seems to me that Sony are ignoring gamers out there who enjoy playing multiplayer. Not only that, but a large percentage of my cube games are pre-owned. If i did buy the ps3 and bought all my games brand new, i would have significantly less games than i would have if i could buy pre-owned games. Yet again, a cock-up on Sony's part. -
I can't wait to watch it tonight now. Although, i think it's going to be boring with the rest of the housemates.

The official 24 thread (mark spoilers please thank you)
Fierce_LiNk posted a topic in General Chit Chat
I think it's best if we keep it all here, guys. :P I bought the series 1 boxset off amazon.co.uk for a measly £18. I'm now about half way through watching it, and am completely addicted. I've got my brother hooked on it, as well. -
What is the worst Nintendo 64 game you ever played
Fierce_LiNk replied to british lad's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Mission Impossible and V Ralley were awesome. Heathens. :p The only game i played that i didn't like was that Michael Owen footie game. -
Hehe. Now that we know Snake is in this game, can we expect to see at least one Metal Gear themed location used as a stage for battle in this game?

The asian excuse won't work, especially on another asian. :p Let's just keep this thread alive in good faith, yes?
