  1. Tonight's new games for the EU... Hanabi Festival is back, so we get more games that never made it to Europe... Columns III: Revenge of Columns (Mega Drive - 900 points) Final Soldier (Turbografx - 700 points) Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou (Turbografx-CD - 900 points)
  2. US got Ninja Gaiden III: A Threequel Too Far and Phantasy Star II today.
  3. Unfortunately, according to the recent hands-on at IGN, it appears we've been let down on the online front - not only is the promised downloadable content not going to happen, neither is the online play! I hope that THQ and Team 17 see sense and delay the game so they can be included! If not, I'll just stick with Worms XBLA and Worms Open Warfare 2.
  4. So bloody infuriating trying to track this one down! If it weren't for people telling me not to buy any games until after Christmas I wouldn't be putting up with this crap!
  5. What's the difference between God and Bono? Well, God doesn't walk around thinking he's Bono... But to be fair, only he can deliver the line "well tonight, thank God it's them instead of you" well enough for it to be taken seriously. Because while we think how horrible the poverty situation is in Africa we admit that we are not able to take their place.
  6. New EU releases: Cybernator (Konami/NCS Corp) (SNES) Light Crusader (Sega/Treasure) (Mega Drive) Rolling Thunder 2 (Sega/Namco) (Mega Drive)
  7. This week's EU games: Bubble Bobble (NES) The King of Fighters '94 (Neo Geo)
  8. Apparently there would have been another title up on VC this weekend had it been compatible with the Component cable. This week, for our US readers: Volleyball (NES) Super Air "Zonk": Rockabilly Paradise (TG16-CD) Sonic 3D Blast (Sega Genesis)
  9. Just one game this week: Double Dribble (NES) Now forget this paltry effort and go out and buy Super Mario Galaxy instead
  10. I never sold any of my GameCube games - in fact I bought a few more since I got my Wii
  11. Not in the 21st century it isn't! As an Anglican Christian myself I'm very open to other beliefs, be they Catholicism, Muslim, Atheism or whatever, and know myself that I am not perfect (ie. I drink a fish and curse like a fucking sailor and fantasise about the fairer sex like any other male), but I know that God did not make us all to be the same, otherwise life would be boring. Personally I worship God in my own way - playing bass guitar in my church's music group and in my local Boys Brigade (and some of the BB officers and music group members are drinking buddies!). It feels like I'm giving something to the local community as well.
  12. As a person with a disability, I am deadset against any form of prejudice, racism included.
  13. This new Worms game looks great, I hope this turns out well
  14. OMG! The title music is so beautiful. I feel this game is going to be tantamount to a triple-A Hollywood blockbuster. The Pokémon tune is also a tour de force. Yes I am also a fan of Sakurai-san's quirky sense of humour which shows in the commentary.
  15. 5 new Mega Drive games tonight: Crack Down ESWAT: City Under Siege Ghouls 'n Ghosts Shining in the Darkness Sonic the Hedgehog 3
  16. I agree. It's certainly sad that anyone, let alone celebrities, should have any form of mental illness, and should be left alone to sort their lives out as necessary.
  17. Saddened to hear the news of the death of an opera legend and tireless charity supporter Luciano Pavarotti, resto nella pace.
  18. I agree. The WarioWare stage is gonna rock! : peace:
  19. And Sports Interactive, Secret Level, Creative Assembly, PROPE and Sega Racing Studio
  20. And a ballpoint pen will work just as well in zero gravity, if you remember from QI
  21. That's true. Maybe because Nintendo used to be very conservative about such matters in the N64 days and only Nintendo-published games could be Player's Choice titles. But they were more lax with the GameCube, which saw games from EA, Sega, Ubisoft, THQ, Vivendi, Capcom and Activision become Player's Choice titles. I'm sure these partners will remain when Player's Choice titles come to the Wii.
  22. 2K Sports' baseball sim The BIGS which saw a US release this summer is making its way to Europe in October, and as it seems, only for the Wii. It is listed on Game and Play.com, and both sites feature the boxart: Finally, a baseball game to get me teeth into!
  23. Today's update for the US: Star Soldier (NES) Dynamite Headdy (Sega Genesis) Drop Off (Turbografx-16)
  24. Tonight's new games: Devil's Crush (Turbografx) Kirby's Ghost Trap (SNES)
  25. Asterix on the SNES was pretty good As for TinTin, there were TinTin games released in the mid 1990s from Infogrames, but they were shite
