I also made these if you didn't see them.

This is... really interesting: http://celadonmansion.tumblr.com/post/21071207145/theory-on-the-pokemon-bw2-villains Though probably not true.

I just don't understand why "2 years later, with new characters, starting in a new location, experiencing an entirely separate plot" doesn't mean sequel? It is loads different than "The exact same experience as the last two versions mixed together, with minimal changes to the dialogue and a new place to battle at the end of the game." You're saying these changes are minimal but they've changed the entire game, just set it in the same area. This isn't "dialogue changes", this is actual plot changes. For what we can see N, Team Plasma... none of that is in this. We have an entirely new rival which means a new plot. Yes it's Gray in that this is what we are getting instead of Gray... but it is a true sequel. Arguing that "this is what the 3rd game should have always been" is weird too... because I think Serebii and I agree with that whole-heartedly... and that is why we're excited. We've been waiting for Nintendo to do something like this for a long time. That's why we're so happy, because this is 100 times more exciting than just another 3rd game. Whereas you seem to be annoyed that this is just Nintendo making more of an effort by releasing something that feels as new as possible, but is also clearly Gen 5. We all know Nintendo does these 3rd games just to make money, and Nintendo knows that not everybody buys these 3rd games, so, thankfully, they'll just trying to make this experience far more value for money than before. Thats why we're defending these games.

I saw it too... was just hoping I hadn't.

Wow. That's some tan. I'm kinda pissed, I was hoping that they might add to the only 3 black characters in the ENTIRE Pokémon universe but ok.
-
Everything seems new enough for me to get it. Also... was the rival surrounded by Team Rocket?
-
Ha ha, no actually. He does sound a bit like him though doesn't he? FUN FACTS FOR FACT FANS: Paul was originally a Stegosaurus called Laurence but Daniel who voices him says "I know a Laurence, it's weird" so we called him Paul. Then when I drew the Stegosaurus he said "Sorry, that's not a Paul. A Stegosaurus is not a Laurence. A Stegosaurus is a Paul." In the script Russell eats Paul but I thought it was too hard to animate. And I like it how it is now.
-
Yeah I agree. Someone made this.
-
I used Flash to do the animation, After Effects to compile it all together and Final Cut to edit it. I used Audacity for the sound. It took me a week and a half. And yep, I need a microphone. Thanks.
-
Daniel Lee's (below) natural voice to me just screamed "pterodactyl called Paul". In the 'script' it was a Stegosaurus called Laurence. He's a housemate of mine, essentially. And thanks for all the feedback.

A cartoon about dinosaurs and what they did. All of this is true and based on facts.

We didn't say it is like GSC to RBY, just that the B2W2's Unova is to BW's Unova, what GSC's Kanto was to RBY's Kanto. As in played through in a different order, physically aged, new characters, new locations, new gym leaders etc and of course an entirely new plot. I think the very fact you are playing as two completely different humans and have a brand new rival speaks volumes... I guess our idea of what a sequel is is different, because I think sequels can still be set in the same place. It is the third game in this generation, it's not like we're still going to expect Grey, but the way you're disregarding them doesn't really do them justice. Obviously, like any company, Nintendo are making these games to make money but I think the level of fan excitement kind of justifies it, especially considering these fans would have settled for Grey. This is the first time in a long time where Nintendo aren't just giving us the bare minimum effort.

I don't really see where this complete denial of the facts we have been given is coming from but fair enough.

The Dark Knight Rises (Spoilers inside, enter at own risk)
Hamishmash replied to Retro_Link's topic in General Chit Chat
I like it actually. She looks as silly as the name "Catwoman" is and her character is always kind of a cheeky pisstake of Batman himself. She SHOULD look like she's wearing a bit of a halloween costume. I still don't see why Robin is this big no-no, can't be done seriously, are you crazy!? with Christian Bale and Nolan... I think he's just as silly as Catwoman is. -
I never bought Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, whatever... I do see this is as significantly different. With a completely new starting town, new rival, new parts of the world to explore, new gym leaders... this feels actually a lot more new then I expected it to be. This is essentially what the Kanto portion of Gold and Silver was to Red and Blue. The world is changed, you go through it in a new order, things have grown up... I like the looks of it.

I've been winning the vast, vast majority of online games, deathmatch and lightVdark... and this doesn't feel right...
-
Wait... that shirtless gym leader... is that a tan line around his pelvis? Is that how Japanese character designers think black skin works? I mean I know black people tan but oh my god, he’s like ginger person white under there...
-
The only GaGa song I like is Teeth and apparently that's her most disliked?
-
I won an online deathmatch! I.... won it!

He's the guy from the sitcom Community. Bigger in the US than in the UK of course. I thought that was quite enjoyable.

I'm basing my weapon choices almost purely on the Value number. How do you chose yours and what does Value actually mean?

Just to point out though that although I find that fact that to my children Mario Galaxy 2 will be a retro game, I'm not going to consciously mold them into any sort of interest. My dad loves Cricket and Golf but I've never been interested in it at all, but he never forced it on me and for that I really thank him.
-
It really freaks me out that like... my first Mario games were the first 3 on the NES (kind of simultaneously)... and for a lot of kids, there first Mario game might be Mario Galaxy 2 or Super Mario 3D Land or something. Kids are growing up now who've always known Mario and Sonic star in games together.

I don't see why your screen would scratch. It's not like you have to press hard, especially if you're using the stand like I am.
-
It's nice to have the option. I think it does make it more comfortable. It was great getting the game, the stand and a pack of cards! They did a good job of making your purchase feel extra special.
