  1. Well, I've nearly finished chapter 2, been trying to get all the classes out of the way first then focus solely on the missions, and not bored yet lol. I'll give Godfather a look once i've finished some of my backlog. Only got a wii last week, and got 8 (well 10 if you count metroid trilogy as 3) pretty big games to plough through!
  2. Sorry for the 12 month bump, but didn't want to make a new thread when there was one lying around. Got this game yesterday (along with Manhunt 2 for £14) and just made it to chapter 2. Owned it for the ps2 but could never get into it, I didn't even get the skateboard first time round, I just stopped. I seriously think motion controls are the reason I am loving this version. The fighting is top notch and aiming with the slingshot is intuitive. Looking forward to exploring the town now and seeing what qulaity stuff I missed out on. Anyone still playing this gem? Oh, one last question, I really like the feel of this game with the controls, would you reccomend Godfather Wii as a worthy titles to buy after?
  3. Ah, Zelda II; I remember getting it for my 5th birthday. I loved the original, whcih I got the year before, and playe that to death. so my mon went out and got me the 2nd one for the next birthday. When I played it I was so shocked. It was completely different to the game I knew and loved, yet it felt good to play as Link again. I never completed it, as it was too difficult for my 5 year old self, and I have never felt the urge to go back to it, but I may download it on the virtual console. I remember being stuck on the first dungeon for ages, I had no idea how to kill the horsehead boss, had to phone a nintendo cheatline for that one lol.
  4. Just picked this up from Gamestation pre-owned for £5!! Loving it, just done my first lot of coconut collectiong, lol.
  5. Well looks like we'll have Cings other title Again: Eye of Providence to tide us over till this gets a west release. Eurogamer is reporting that it will have a definite release early next year> People were calling this "Hotel Dusks spiritual successor" when it looked like there would be no Hotel Dusk 2, but looks like we can drop that =]
  6. AWESOME! Hotel dusk is definitely one of my favourite DS games. I've been clinging to the hopes that a sequel would be made, maybe even for the wii, and now i'm sooo happy =] On the topic of the name, I don't think they'd have Hotel Dusk in teh title, because it doesnt occur in hotel dusk lol. I'd imagine that Nintendo would print "sequel to the mystery novel game Hotel Dusk" somewhere on the cover though.
  7. Hmm, Nintendo shouldn't repeat what they did this year, and leave wii owners without TOP quality purchases for the start of the year. Everything needs to be spread out, not bunched together. Here is what we already know release date wise (bold) and how i think Nintendo should space out the rest. If everything is released in winter, where is the quality to keep wii owners attached to the console?
  8. I loved this game, and it is definitely my 2nd favourite zelda game, after Wind Waker. I always felt a huge amount of sorry during the last 6 hours of the game when the moon was about to crash into Termina. The Last End music, coupled with characters like the head carpenter stubbornly waiting there for the impact really made for a sad scene. I don't think any other game has touched me on an emotional level like this since.

    Fallout 3

Yeah I know what you mean about it being a time sponge, on my first playthrough I put around 80 hours into it, and considering barring FIFA and PES I have probably never spent more than 20 hours playing a game, that was a rare occasion for me. there'd be times when you're just walking round the wasteland and just enjoying the scenery or getting over a hill top to see a single shack in the far distance, and you decide to take the time out of doing a quest to just have a look around. Unfortunately, i'm not the sort of guy who can play a game from the beginning again after experiencing all missions, so Fallout 3 is finished for me =[ but tell you what, I cannot wait till New Vegas comes out!!
  10. I could never get into Bioshock. It just wasn't my scene. Scared the beejesus out of me with some of the weirdos running around, but the whole plasmid idea just wasn't my thing. =[ shame really as the art style was amazing.
