  1. Exactly my point! : peace: Of course it is, but I'm fairly confident this wasn't on purpose. I'm even guessing it has some bad influence on the fans/collectors. People are getting more and more annoyed by the situation, I'm one of them
  2. Yep, that makes things even worse. Shop exclusives are a very annoying choice. And the whole idea of store exclusives is to get more customers to come to your store. Can't imagine any retailer or Nintendo being happy with this situation. The shortages drive customers insane and attract all sorts of scum (scalpers and the likes). What do you think keeps Nintendo from a public statement in regards to this situation? Something along the lines of: "We will make sure that everybody gets the chance to buy his or her favourite amiibo. Just have patience because demand is far higher than we ever imagined. As long as there is demand, we will continue producing every single figure. Please understand" Customers need reassurance to keep them from anxiously placing multiple preorders and paying scalper prices on Ebay and such.
  3. Aw man, people are going crazy with browser-alerts on every EU webshop that has any amiibo at all. This is going too far now, there are subreddits full with people lurking for any chance of preordering more of the same amiibo just in case one gets a rare status. I'm not going to pre-order anymore and instead just take my chances on launch day with retailers. Worked out for me except for Rosalina. Just hope Nintendo will produce more of the "rarer" amiibo, rather sooner than later. Just stop this madness... It's really putting me off
  4. I don't think it's totally different from music and movies. Watching someone play Zelda for example can massively spoil story, sense of amazement, hearing music for the first time, encountering new inhabitants/scenery for the first time. That alone could put off some potential buyers. But yeah, I too find that Nintendo should loosen up a little on this front. 10/20% seems more fair.
  5. Yep, the first was Dillon's Rolling Western, the second is Dillon's Rolling Western - The Last Ranger.
  6. @Glen\-i I'm slowly getting tempted to buy 1 of the Dillon games. Which one would you suggest?
  7. Yeah, I think Dillon would fit in great. But I'm afraid he isn't well known enough to have a chance. But who knows, he already made it as an assist trophy!
  8. Wonder Red? Dillon? Inkling? Pushmo? Rusty? Henry Fleming? Box boy?
  9. this.
  10. Man, I spent ages with the stamp/pixel art. Yoshi's in all different colours of the rainbow etc... I think I'll give it a go tonight!
  11. Cing should've been bought by Nintendo, all those IP's would fit realy nicely in the current library. Another Code, Hotel Dusk, Little King's Story, Last Window. Loved 'em all
  12. Haha, I still have Mario Paint and the included mouse and mousepad lying around here somewhere. I loved the bug squatting game and the music creator mode!
  13. Well, at least both Konami and Ubisoft are Marketing a Wii U game now
  14. I think pricing here in The Netherlands is fair compared to most other European countries. I do find the occasional bargain in the UK or sometimes in Germany but I think that's mainly due to the amount of competing resellers. Digital though is always the most expensive option overhere. Everything is sold at RRP, while physical copies are 10-20% cheaper already during launch of the games. Especially Media Markt is known for selling at a customer friendly rate.
  15. riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight....
  16. There's so much to choose from, but I'm going with Wart yes. His fighting style could be really interesting, shooting bubbles which entrap and stun opponents for a while. A little bit like Bubble Bobble actually. Another reason for voting Wart is because I think Nintendo should stir up the old Mario vs Bowser story. Reinventing King Wart as a villain in the Mario universe would be most welcome to me. From a Smash-only perspective there are a few other interesting characters: - Ice Climbers and Ridley for very obvious reasons. I have no doubt at all that both will come out on top/very high - Layton, Rayman, Klonoa, Bomberman and Goemon all have that cartoony look that blends in perfectly - Dillon, Wonder Red, Isaac, King Hippo, Chibi-Robo, Lolo, Doshin, Bayonetta and Zack & Wiki are more of a stretch
  17. Haha, I love that guy. It's like listening to Arnold Schwarzenegger!! What's the deal with Bill Trinen wearing that Smash Bros "Challenger Approaching" shirt?
  18. I know, it's even an hour later this side of the North Sea I need to interview some sollicitors tomorrow morning, guess I'll let them do even more of the talking than usualy
  19. Wow, that's quite long for a Direct. Any word on the duration of the European Direct?
  20. Less than 2 hours to go!!! Hype is historicaly weak this time around. Everybody not watching this live will be bummed when they see what they missed
  21. Wow, massive leak!!!
  22. Me too, never missed a ND, love these shows. Hoping there'll be some silly Shibata stuff
  23. My guess: - Splatoon blow-out: release date confirmation, Inkling amiibo figurines shown, utilisation explained, modes shown. - Yoshi's Whoolly World: new screens and trailer, no specific release date, just "summer 2015", amiibo support. - Kirby details for Europe - Xenoblade X details for Europe - Tipping Stars DLC - Mewtwo details - Mario Kart DLC pack 2 details, extra amiibo suits - Codename S.T.E.A.M. - Puzzles & Dragon - Fire Emblem 3DS - New platforms added to Wii U & 3DS VC No mentions of Mario Maker, Zelda, Star Fox or Devils Third
  24. Wow, that means they sold two copies?
