  1. Absolutely they should when it comes with such fundamental shifts, has already ruined our economy killing off all the growth we've made in the last 20 years and was built on a house of lies
  2. Had a dream about augmented reality tied with Pokémon GO, but...you know...good. Basically AR glasses that superimposed the Pokémon there
  3. Just booked for 6 days in San Francisco for me and the girlfriend May still have to back out, thankfully it's cancellable for free
  4. Na, it's Tobias Ellwood. I don't expect much since last time I contacted him, I essentially got this back He's the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs so maybe he sees sense. His website indicates he's for staying in the EU but wants to push for reforms
  5. Ignoring the slim majority to maintain the status quo is a different beast to ignoring the slim majority to enact major change that impacts hundreds of millions of people. If it was just a day before, Remain would have won. I've written to my MP and implored him to do what is right.
  6. Many referendums regarding the EU in EU countries have gone this way. It either causes a second referendum or ignoring when it's such a slim majority. When so many people want the other thing, frankly it's irresponsible and borderline criminally negligent to just follow through with no consideration
  7. I fully concur with September
  8. Ashley's just upset that Keanu Reeves hasn't aged in 30 years while Ashley is fast approaching 30 :p
  9. It's not like he can ruin it anymore than Brexit already has
  10. Today's gimmicks can be tomorrow's standards.
  11. Sigh, I really do want my country back. This has been a catastrophe from the get-go. It has caused racists to feel validated and output that validation. We are a nation that has been built on the migration of others. Vikings, Romans, Normans, Celts etc. all were fundamental to this country and yet how many of them originated here. Not a damned one of them. The idea of Britain for the British is laughable at best. What is British? Parliament needs to nip this in the bud. Other EU countries have had referendums pertaining to the EU where the slim majority said No but it was overturned. This NEEDS to be the outcome. The economy is crashing. The promises will be unfulfilled due to being unfeasible. Taxes will rise. The pound will continue to drop. I am a sad panda
  12. Thing is, to remain in the single market, or the EEA, we'd need to essentially give the same contribution to the EU as we do now and allow immigration. The difference is that we will get fuck all back
  13. I really am starting to think that Parliament is going to "overturn" (for lack of a better term, since it wasn't legally binding) the referendum. The country is in turmoil. Almost half didn't vote to leave, many who did are starting to regret it. The political parties are imploding. The UK is fracturing. The markets are mental. Banks are crashing. The pound is the weakest it has been for decades. They can't ignore these things. Just because a slim majority voted to leave on a non-binding referendum does not mean they have to do it and it'd be negligent to just ignore the millions of people who don't want it. They need to find a compromise, something to make everyone happy. We're not in a country of direct democracy, and to leave this decision solely to direct democracy when both the campaigns just outright lied to the public is just horrific.
  14. Absolutely nothing on 3DS or Wii U this week
  15. We need a common extra-terrestrial enemy so that we can all unite together as the human race because this bullshit is ridiculous. We're all human. Doesn't matter where you're from or how much melanin you have, we're all the same deep down and should unite based on what's the same, not what is different.
  16. I back a second referendum if the campaigns start to use facts on it rather than the shambles it was.
  17. Never more fitting Personally, I'm not that fussed. My only issue was that there was no plan or idea put forward for leaving, and that both campaigns lied, exaggerated and preyed on people's fears to get what they wanted, causing the public to be confused and not necessarily know what they're voting for. This is a large part of why everything went to shit globally yesterday, because nobody knew what the fuck was going on or what was going to happen. I think Britain can and will easily survive on its own. I always have. It may not be ideal, it may be hard in places, and it may not be the best option, but it can. I just wish that the way we leave and decided to leave could have been done intelligently, and based on facts rather than the scaretactics that were used.
  18. I use it daily for Wii Fit U so it's plugged in. Plus there's still lots of download titles to play
  19. So that if one part is completely against something the prime minister/president is trying to push forth, they can just stop it i.e. the gun control bills, universal healthcare etc.? and then sue the president for failing to deliver on his promises. No. US system is a good idea on paper, but it's broken as fuck.
  20. Cameron is on his way out anyway. He could be a complete dick and veto it.
  21. Hasn't been decided by parliament yet. All this is is an opinion poll. Parliament can still say "yeah no", and I wouldn't be surprised considering the massive fallout thus far This cracked me up
  22. Motion of no confidence issuedby Labour MPs for Jeremy Corbyn Prime Minister stepping down World markets in freefall Scotland talking about a second referendum for independence Ireland wanting to reunite with Northern Ireland for them to stay in the EU Pokémon Sun & Moon is STILL releasing on November 23rd here. Yeah this was totally a good idea.
  23. I really don't think many people realise how much EU funding comes into the UK for various things. That is my main concern about us now leaving. We've said "we want out", but they haven't put forward any ideas on how we will be when we are out. This is my concern about this. As someone with prolonged medical issues, as does my partner, I'm concerned that the NHS is going to buckle because money has to come from somewhere and there are going to be cuts and tax rises across the board to offset the withdrawal of EU funding in areas such as science, architecture etc. I do hope my concerns are unjustified
  24. New info next week ^_^
  25. I think this is actually quite clever of Cameron. Leave campaign heads are already saying their promises aren't exactly feasible. By delaying the enacting of article 50 to October, it's leaving us time to wallow in potential catstrophe. With a power struggle upcoming, and the idea of another general election, plus that, it could potentially cause people to second guess and potentially reverse it. Chances are low, but I can see a potential logic to this. Otherwise he's being an idiot for resigning when the market is already tanking. That's just going to make shit worse.
