I play a craptonne of games and I don't have a PS4/Xbox One yet. I work freelance so I have way too much time on my hands 80% of the year. The "droughts" (which are never more than 2 months now) don't bother me.

again, you are superimposing your personal views as gospel by claiming they do not have a steady stream of releases just because you don't like the games they release. It's a steady stream, it may not be a good list for you, but it's a steady stream. Accept that. Besides, they release first party titles far more steadily than their counterparts and even those consoles don't have weekly new releases, despite third party support

For all we know, it could still hit 2015 (it's just not likely). Aonuma said outright that they're just not making 2015 their number one priority, and that's good...that's classic Nintendo. They don't rush games out to hit a specific release date. So it could still be 2015, but it probably isn't.

Just remember, the Wii was 5 years old when it got its first original Zelda game. I Also, they do have steady releases now. We've talked about this. They have steady releases, just not ones that please you. That doesn't mean they do not have steady releases. The fact you also want Nintendo to do WEEKLY releases of games is just absurd. As for your complaint about them adding new ideas meaning they don't have a clear view of what the game should be, that just shows your lack of knowledge of development. Things always change in game development. Things get added, things get removed. That's how it works.

Thankfully, it's incredibly unlikely for there to be "free stars" levels in Mario Maker, so there is likely to be less crap.

The way I see it is (and I said as much in my review): If you're creating stages more, go Wii U If you're playing stages more, go 3DS. Even though the Wii U one looks much prettier, it's much easier having the full view on the top screen than having to look up on the Wii U to the TV. Though both are great
