I do agree with that, but I am digging the art style Graphical polish is always the last thing for Nintendo to do, so we should be good.

http://www.gonintendo.com/stories/236663-starfox-zero-s-visual-style-is-a-reaction-to-most-games-today-loo Told you guys it was a visual style, not them just having bad graphics. I thought it was confirmed that there would be multiple.

I think that point has been exaggerated somewhat through the community. From 2011 through to the end of 2015 (assuming no further delays or announcements), Nintendo have developed or published 159 titles: 36 Wii U Retail titles 10 Wii U Download titles 17 Wii titles 7 DS titles 59 Nintendo 3DS retail titles 30 Nintendo 3DS download titles That's an average of one retail title a month for Wii U and one a month for the 3DS Only issue is that they've not got third parties to fill the gaps and Nintendo don't make it easy on themselves because they do months sometimes with two or three released...sometimes the same day. I believe the issue won't suddenly "resolve" on the new platform, especially as they'll still have console exclusive and handheld exclusive titles, it's just some may be crossplatform.
-
He really seems surprised the Wii U can do decent graphics. Yeesh. And the fact he thought the 3DS would bomb. Oish. The rest, just seems he wants Nintendo to be the same as the rest. Meh :p
-
But that's not the main thing. The World of Nintendo toy line has existed for a while and never got this range. Some would say Nintendo could have just released the figures, but it's the combination of figures and in-game compatibility which is what made amiibo a big hit. How is it backwards thinking if it's a potential waste of resources? Many of the games people say "This should have had online" would have had a dead online community.
-
But a game shouldn't have it as a default. Games shouldn't be derided for lacking it unless it's glaring, like with Starfox.
-
I disagree with the Miyamoto stuff somewhat. Pikmin 3 didn't need online. I don't like how everything is given an online mode these days. It often feels shoehorned into various games. Seriously, why did The Last of Us have an online mode? It's bizarre. Starfox, though. I am disappointed that it doesn't have it.
-
Now that I do agree with, just to shut the whiners up But then we will have people demanding blood due to locking content behind a "paywall". Nintendo cannot win with some people here..
-
I'm not wrong here. You're just trying to pick holes to make out like Nintendo are evilly locking away portions of the game. The games are 100% complete without the amiibo content. The amiibo content are bonus extras, that is all. Stop with your persecution complex.
-
But it's not content that was in the design brief for games and is largely throwaway extras. You're making complaints to make complaints. How would you do amiibo, then? And yeah, you can, but don't say that you no longer care if you just continually make more posts here which are more indicative of you actually caring but being disappointed. Be truthful with your words.
-
The content was created with the intent of it being unlocked via amiibo towards the end of development. Therefore it's complete without it. You just use it as ammunition in your complaints against Nintendo, a company who you claim you no longer care about yet keep coming into threads to stir up trouble. Hmm. Which one of us is the biased one, again?
-
That's a different scenario. That's dealing with an issue where harm comes to people and so they have to speak up if they're screwing up. This is just Nintendo pissing off rampant fans on the Internet.
-
To be fair, it's not like any company lets their head people say "We fucked up".
-
Get the hate in, folks :p
-
Yeah, Nintendo should stop doing their successful thing from this generation which has generated over $100,000,000. Yeah totally.
-
My statement was not incorrect. Of course the content is on the disc, because NFC chips are incapable of storing great amounts of content. However, these are almost all extras which wouldn't exist without amiibo. The Splatoon challenges were just the single player levels with a different weapon or time limit. Hardly locked content. amiibo Party on Mario Party 10 is pushing it, but when we have people demanding amiibo get more use, then it's going to get more use. You can't have it both ways.
-
TBF, Retro have helped with other titles in the interim as well
-
Ignoring handheld titles as well to make your point? Next Level Games have been working on Luigi's Mansion 2, Metroid Prime Federation Forces, Metroid Prime Blast Ball and reportedly other things in the last few years.
-
It's almost as if making games became more complicated.
-
Or, they could not segment the market and include a small NFC reader in the console and that's it. Yeesh, the way some of you talk, you'd think amiibo killed families. If you don't like amiibo, then fine. Don't buy them. The games are 100% complete without them unless designed solely for amiibo. The lack of purchasing amiibo in no way impedes your gameplay.
-
Except we have an image of her in brown in Mario Maker...
-
Think that is easily explained though: Isabelle amiibo figure Isabelle amiibo card
-
Again, E3 is not just the conference
-
It's ridiculous. Everyone agreed Nintendo knocked it out of the park last year, but this year they didn't bring heavy hitters so now they "don't get it" when they did everything else the same?
-
You cretin :p My site is up to date with changes and standards. You just don't know it! When was the last time you visited?
