  1. Still won't be the same, luckily.
  2. I love Gaf. Let's just fuse this site with NeoGaf. Then we won't feel so alone anymore in our NINTENDO love/disappointment.
  3. Sorry, I'll change my stance.
  4. This is the stage after that with the sharks.
  5. Not a main part of course, but large enough to piss off a certain amount of people.
  6. I am aware of this. I was merely speculating on the point that NINTENDO might make it a focus...
  7. I wonder if they'll ever promote this via a NINTENDO Direct
  8. That ship has sailed during brawl times, I suppose. Even at NeoGaf support is slim and his rights are still Square-Enix's.
  9. NINTENDO is definitely riding the nostalgia like never before, but with such a great library of classics who could blame them? They should make sure a considerable amount of care goes into making their back catalog available to newer generations, but I would agree that NINTENDO ought to continue to focus on great new experiences both in the triple A sense of the word as in the crazy 'gimmick' sense of the word. If NINTENDO wants to cater to kids again, they need that new line of classics. The gaming landscape has vastly changed however, and kids usually go for the more edgy stuff like GTA or Tekken or Battlefield. Heck, now that I think about it, I know I did before I switched to NINTENDO. Anyways, my view: 30% back catalog preservation/emulation 40% Triple A type of experiences and smaller projects 20% Crazy Gimmick shizzle 10% Pure Mario
  10. Right, so anyone with some knowledge of Ecco the Dolphin: What am I supposed to do in The Lagoon?
  11. But it was released 2 days ago.... But where do you find the time.... I'm still haven't even bought Super Mario 3D World for crying out loud!
  12. What I would absolutely LOVE to see is Miyamoto teaming up with Kojima. Now THAT, would make for an interesting game and an even more interesting Iwata Asks.
  13. I thought they were finally going to announce the return of Reverse Mode in which you go through the stages the other way around.
  14. I have yet to play them all. Only did the Egg Cup real quick late at night yesterday on the GamePad. Let's See: Yoshi Circuit - Just like I remembered it and with great Double Dash music to boot Excite Bike Stage - Seems like mad fun on a League Night and gave me that Baby Park feel. Mute City - DAT AIN'T NO F-ZERO! Dragon Stage - Great aesthetic, great music, but by god a lot of turning and twisting makes it quite difficult. I quite like Link's poses and random 'HYEAH!', but it feels so weird that he is in a Mario Kart game and the likes of Wart or Prof. E. Gadd or even Diddy Kong/Dixie Kong/Cranky Kong are not. Must get back into this again.
  15. I was just wondering, won't 200cc put it more in the range of Mario Kart Wii since everyone found 150cc to be more sluggish in Mario Kart 8 than in Mario Kart Wii? I downloaded the first DLC pack with thanks to the Stars Catalogue, and I raced with Link on a Motorcycle in Mario Kart...
  16. I love it that Britons never consider themselves to be Europeans I've been in The Netherlands for as long as I can remember, and nothing is out of the ordinary here. Prices are okay, have imported from the UK from time to time so I could play certain games in English or because some stores had crazy cheap deals. Other than that, eShop prices are pretty normal.
  17. I think you are correct in your assumption. From what I've read, it seems like we'll be getting one account to use on all platforms on a NINTENDO created ecosystem. The real question to me is how they will be phasing out WiiU and 3DS though.
  18. Ended up proposing Paper Mario, I was weak Might vote again every day until the deadline though
  19. You know what, I think I just might...
  20. What's with all the Goku proposals on Neogaf? ---- Amazing
