Ubisoft developer has good things to say about the Revolution
Demuwan replied to Hal_9Million's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If Big Tac says he's real I believe he is real : peace: (I know I kiss major ass but wouldn't you?) Nintendo will surprise many this coming generation I believe will see the return of the fallen Superpower. -
Devil May Cry 4 (not) to be ported to Revolution
Demuwan replied to DiemetriX's topic in Nintendo Gaming
See that makes a Lot of difference -
Does that mean we can ask about other secrets? (I know its quite cheeky but I have NEEDS) ps. Thanx Big Tac

BY the way for anyone ignorant of killing day have a look at this. It is something like what we can expect http://www.gamespot.com/pages/video_player/popup.php?pid=926994&sid=6125056&tab=related OWNAGE

Big Tac one question for you 1 Do u know anything on the Revolutions multiplayer aspects. Iwata stated some E3's ago that the Revolution would use a form of displaying multiplayer that would better split-screen screen gaming. Also any news on WIFI aspects of the Revo. If developers will use its online features. How many players Revo can have online etc Thank You Ps expect to hear from u soon

LOL Im just so hyped for the Revolution Guys I think we should limit(or stop for a mo) the amount of questions we ask. i know everyone has questions but we must remember that Big Tac is only human(I think ) and has an awful lot of questions to deal with already. I also think that more people should be saying thanx to Big Tac (apologies if you do that) but we must remember that Big tac doesn't have to do all this an because of this appreation is in order. Its just common manners thats all. : peace:

Thank you Big Tac you have really lit up my drab week and thank you very much for all the time you've taken to answer questions. i am reallly pumped up for the revolution and have many great ideas for the future. I will not try to ask another question (even though I really want to) but will take this opportunity to say Thank you. ps DAMM T3H REVOLUTION IS GONNA BE SO SWEET (I have to change again _)

Thats a tough one for someone to answer.

Thnx Big tac I was wondering what titles you think will definitely make launch from all developer u can think of and the ones that might Thnx again What did u mean when you said for the short run. do any games look as good as oblivion which I think looks amazing http://www.gamespot.com/pages/video_player/popup.php?pid=927345&sid=6136833&tab=related 1 any news on a ppu or any advanced physics for the Revoltion 2 Does revolution use any really good force feedback which is something I think is essential 3 Are the graphics better than Gears of War
-
Thanks for all the Info and welcome back Big Tac. The news has been so ultra-dry without you. 1 Do you know what the Free radical project will be like 2 Do you think(own opinion) the revo's graphics are comparable to the competition 3 What games should we anticipate for launch 4 Does the shell look even more comfy than the cube controller 5 Can you if u know give us clues about the 3rd revolutionary feature Thanx Big Tac : peace: ps. any other info would be much appreciated.

THE MATRIX BEST FILM EVER *bad rendition of comic book guy from the Simpsons* Its full of action, philosophical issues, drama some romance but the fighting DAMM DAMM its soo good. Never seen fighting portrayed as flawlessly. The more I watch it the better it gets. That film should got Oscar. I cant name a better SCI-FI action movie. LOTR trilogy comes in the top 5 though

I know this has been asked a lot so I thought I'd share some ideas that were talked of in the IGN Forums "Hey Guys I've been reading up on the posts and i decided to make one as well seeing as the ones ive read are quite interesting :-) Having been following the Revolution intently since its announcement in 2004, I had this idea that maybe the other secret that Nintendo has yet to announce is the rumble and the gyroscope inside the controller itself... Being a university graduate, i based my university thesis on innovative video games controllers for the elderly and i created a prototype that functioned like the one nintendo had created and i had come up with this idea last year which was a year before nintendo even unvelied their innovative controller. This is partly why i have been watching nintendo closely, add to the fact that i have been a nintendo fan since the age of 4... But to stay on topic, Having read what Rob said in the 'AtTheCore' article about "smashing a mallet onto a brick wall", thats when it hit me... Maybe the rumble and the gyroscope within the controller will work in tandem in that when you strike with the controller, it will provide force resistance! so that when you hit with the controller, the rumble and gyroscope would work against your force to simulate resistance... This could work as whilst i was researching gyroscopes in my university thesis, i was experimenting with it by moving the gyroscope around whilst it was in motion and it amazingly gives resistance when trying to move it at a certain angle... Perhaps this is Nintendo's big secret!. And it wouldn't be a surprise if it was the case since Nintendo has a knack for redefining present conventions... Eg. Backwards compatibility? The Revolution is about redefining so anyone reading this, my advice is to look at the technologies in the controller that is known thus far and think about how they could be redefined... Rumble is rumble in games, but it could also be used for something else ;-) ... Think about it! What do you think?" This is an intriging way into which Revolutions Feeback could work. Especially with things like light saber games and such. "The way gyro's work is quite amazing since it uses gravity and force. As we already know in science that gravity and force is the same regardless of size and weight of an object, it will provide the same amount of feedback when it is small as it is when it is big... Also, since the gyro technology inside the revmote will be electrical (I know this because ive seen the technology being used in a gyration mouse which you can also buy for your PC) movement can be activated by itself in whichever direction its programmed to move... So you could in the case of a revolution game, have code so that in certain instances in a game, it would activate the gyro and rumble feedback to move in a certain direction... ANd if done the right way, it will be very easy to do with little battery consumption..." Thanks for letting me share this Maverik What do you guys think? ^^^^^^^^^ I second that
-
^^^^^ It could be Stereoscopic stuff well you know what it is. Or even something to do with multplayer as in a better alternative to split screen which is a bit dated now. The possibilties are endless ps before ny1 condemms this guy and the FAKE FAKE FAKE blog. I actually enjoy this type of speculation even if its not true I think it adds more to the surprise when Nintendo do eventually announce what it is. It didnt hurt the controller so I dont see why it should matter now.

Sweet this game is gonna be AWESOME
-
http://nintendo-revolution.blogspot.com/ I no it looks fake but hey it could be true. The info about that Vineet Goel is quite convincing. Anyway imagine those water techniques being used in the next metroid game. That would take the immersion to another level. Is this plausible? Im not really a tech geek myself but I thought I'd share this anyhoo. ps. Big Tac is this really what we can expect?
-
Thats cool, anyway I'd like to say thank you Big Tac for all this info while everyone is busy condemming you I'd like to say thank you (even if it is for giving me a good read )

Multiple Controllers Reacting To Each Other...?
Demuwan replied to Migraine's topic in Nintendo Gaming
To clear up all this invisble light IR crap. It is confirmed that the controller uses bluetooth. -
What attracts you the most about the Revolution?
Demuwan replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I was watching Elder Scrolls earlier for 360 and sure it looked amazing High definition and allt that but when i saw the gameplay it hit me that this was never even gonna compare to Zelda. Thats the bottom line really i mean how many of us would buy a revo if it had no Nintendo franchises on it E.g Zelda Metroid, Mario etc. Not many because we know that Nintendo make quality gaming experiences the controller just enhances things for me. Call me a fanboy but I was always gonna buy the next console even before any news was announced. -
2-3 times more powerful than Gamecube, now basically confirmed
Demuwan replied to James McGeachie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I dont no what to say to this. Its hard to have faith that Nintendo will deliver given such dissapointing news. I was being naive earlier I know that. This news has been pissing me off all day and has distracted me from my coursework. I think Nintendo need to clear this mess up. Its their fault for keeping so tight lipped and now its come back to haunt them. If they do comment on this I hope its not the bull that they usually do avoiding the subject and talking feverishly about the sucess of Nintendogs I think we all deserve a straight answer. E3 2006 is just too far away. -

http://www.revogaming.net/html/modules/news/article.php?storyid=166# Now Feast your eyes on that. IGN have probably got this so wrong. IBM and ATI can produce a perfectly capable machine and all this speculation is doing nothing but hurting the Revolution. I saw we wait until it is offical before we knock Nintendo. Now Im not sure if this pic is at all real but if IGN can speculate well so can I. 2-3x my ASS! EDIT: Got there before me khan -
http://nintendo-revolution.blogspot.com/ So Apparantly Jim is moving back to the States. Thats too bad because I thought he was doing well in Europe and every one knows NOE are a piece of shit. Ah well (when will Nintendo release more revolution info the speculation has gone too far)

OFF TOPIC: Its slightly off topic but what Matt has been saying about the Revolution really pisses me off. "Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have more graphic horsepower than Revolution -- significantly more, according to some developer reports." Now where did he get that from. Anyone (BigTac) with inside knowledge please can you clarify. The link is here: http://cube.ign.com/mail/ Im not gonna lie either Matt I hate your seething guts. Are you a Nintendo fan or were you sent by Microsoft to irritate the fuck out of me. ON TOPIC: Forgoten what I was going to say now.

Theres always someone. Why do they have to be so cynical?
-
Ask Big Tac? *That should be the name of this thread, sounds kinda corny though* Anyhoo, Big Tac do you know anything about the Revolution using a PPU ar the strength of its CPU or more importantly If Nintendo have found a way to reproduce amazing Graphics for cheap. I mean Iwata did say WOW and its gonna take a lot to WOW me.
