Don't think spoilers are that necessary but I'll use them where appropriate and I'm typing this from phone so excuse the poor formatting. First thing, learn his moves. I think it's applicable to all creatures in this game more so than any other I have played. If you know what they can do, moveswise, you know what to dodge, block or tank. And it allows you to game their ki. Perfect example is heavily armoured samurais with Katanas. They tend to like high stance and if they go into that, they begin with a downward vertical slice which can be exploited with your low stance dodges to devastating effect as the those attacks take large amounts of ki and the dodges should put you behind your opponent giving you more damage on your attack. Sorry for the long winded explanation but because I knew all this bosses attacks from all the demos, I was able to do him best him first time. Low stance was key for me too to allow for faster and wider dodges. Make sure you get the ki pulse while dodging upgrade. Essential for the game let alone the boss. Some extra stuff Hope this helps. It's utterly worth it. Year has only started but already contender for game of the year.

Just recently upgraded my computer and tried out the free forza apex. Looks fantastic so tempted to pick this up. Do you if it allows for play between the one and pc? Like can the girlfriend game on the one and I can play with on my pc version?

With that level of enthusiasm shorty, you can go ahead of me then. Might be going out tonight and tomorrow may not be enough time for me to level, especially if girlfriend takes tv.

Sorry I mean 340+. Not sure if you need RoI to get higher light level but here is a list of what activities rewards taken from Eurogamer (source)

Even if you were to grind alone, there is a book in your progress screen recording your activities in the new RoI pvp and pve that rewards you with gear at 340 or 350 light ( can't quite remember) regardless of your current light level. I have levelled partly due to doing the new activities in new areas and stocking my vault full of engrams to decrypt. It's best to decide soon though as the areas are currently populated and make for a more fun experience whereas at your LL you might find some things a bit to challenging.

Can't remember if they all had the logo but I know most did. I haven't bought anything from the vendors save the old iron banner gear.

That can't be right as I bought the old iron banner sash and used that to level my exotic dead orbit sash on my titan. I even have my vault full of legendary engrams and have been using those to level things too.

Watched a stream of the game for five minutes. Over half that time was loading screens. 1 for loading the game, the next for fast travelling to an area.

Good point. Just moved in with the girlfriend and guilt is now becoming more of a factor to acknowledge.

For the longest time, I thought the expansion realise date was Sept 3rd. At least I will have internet for when this drops. But I imagine they will give a week as least before making the raid available.

Glad some more people got into this. These beta periods have been pretty successful from my viewpoint. I wonder if they are directly influencing the release date and that's why we don't have an official one yet.

Just like to add credence to this thread in that I have found the tone and information posted in this thread to be very informative on possibilities and challenges to Nintendo and generally a damn good read!

I began the first half of the fight blocking one attack and then dodging to avoid the second swing that he would do. Blocking 1 attack takes a huge chunk of stamina. When the balls drop blocking tends to lead to death so I focused on evading everything and learning all attacks but stayed in mid stance with dual swords, baited the double swipe to belly flop, dodged and then went to town on him. After the double fist slam, you can get attacks in then too. Don't forget to invest points into magic or w/e the stat is as that increases damage against yokai massively and made a difference to for me. Also you can invest in a passive in the onmyo (sp?) tree too to increase damage against yokai.
