  1. How would you do that? Sort conflicts out etc. for my game I'm considering a first-come-first-priority precedent. But (touch wood) I don't think I'll have that problem with the powers I've made up.

Maybe abilities before death. But I'm thinking they don't matter at all. EG, Player A redirects a Player B in the night phase but Player A is murdered. As such no redirection will take place.

What Peeps said. However, the first-come-first-serve priority is pretty unfair since it's down to coincidence who happens to be online when. The night has a set limit, and within that limit it shouldn't matter when you send in your night action.

  2. It was targeted more at the second paragraph.

What you say is a very individualistic, success-dependent, goal-oriented sort of lifestyle choice. If all you care about is being "successful" and rich, not caring at all about what other people have to say won't win you any favours. Not worrying about what people say behind your back is one thing, but not giving a fuck about anyone is another. And completely ignoring the constructive criticism of others is also not the way to go.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by not giving a fuck though.

I don't personally read any of that into it that you mention there. What I got from it was that you shouldn't let the fear of other people's opinions discourage you from doing what you want. That doesn't mean ignoring everyone else and what they have to say, only disregarding the irrelevant opinions of those who don't matter in your life.

  3. Snow White and the Huntsman Trailer

    Obviously Chris Hemsworth FTW!

Actually looks kinda good... I mean I can't see myself going to watch it, but it wasn't what I was expecting from this... not that I've been following it or anything.

Loving the visual style and design of it.

When I first saw read the title and saw the still, I didn't expect much, but the trailer actually looked great!

  4. Yes. I know he is an investigator, because I redirected him one night and got his result that said Rummy was evil. The same night, Rummy died and was shown to be innocent.

As for Sprout - I redirected him last night as I really didn't trust Dannyboy, and I figured that there's no point redirecting Dazz any more, and I found out that Dannyboy is Innocent.

HOWEVER... I personally still don't trust him, and I think it's very much worth noting that there's probably a mafia Don/leader out there who appears good under investigation. So while it may prove Dannyboy's innocence, I'm not so sure we can take results at face value :-/

Sorry I didn't write here sooner - been at work all day!

Fair enough, I agree that we can't take investigations at face value, but may I ask why you don't trust me? I can't think of any immediate suspicious behaviour on my part, and it's not the first time you've mentioned it.

For the record I don't fully trust you either, what with your double vote and ability to redirect people, but apart from that you don't really strike me as mafia - the problem is that NOBODY really strikes me as mafia in this game at this point! If we want to get anywhere we might need to start lynching on hunches alone, and I hate that - too high a probability for disaster to my liking.

  5. I have looked at a few different games, i'll be picking Munchkin up soon, it looks fun,

Muchkin is great. It's basically a simple RPG without all the complicated rules, but with all the fun, and it pokes so much fun at RPGs and gamer culture in general. Plus, you can easily combine as many of the different sets as you like, creating such amazing combos as cowboy vampire monks in space!

I love board games, but I don't play them often due to lack of people to play with. One of my friends and I often play chess and Stratego when he's here, and I do love to play classics like Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Bezzerwizzer and so forth, but again, only where there are people around.

  6. Gotcha.gif

That's the stupidest target choice I've ever seen. If you want to confirm you are not paranoid, target people who are likely to be mafia, not the only alignment investigator we have, that has already got a mafia lynched.

I think you are hiding behind this ruse that you are a paranoid cop and that you are mafia.

    Vote: Dazz

But why would the mafia pull a useless pointless move like that? Surely they'd be more clever with their targetting?

I honestly don't find Zell all that suspicious, if only because there's nothing that really screams mafia about him. He's a roleblocker, sure, but the town usually has at least one of those, so there's nothing definitive there.

I dunno, it doesn't seem like we have much to go on right now. No new info of value?

  7. (That music ... sniff ...)

Anyway, no time for reminiscence now! It is indeed strange that they went for Yvonne with so much doubt about her yesterday. They could have easily attempted to get her lynched instead. I support the theory of a redirection.

@Cube, to quickly sum up what I have in my notes:

darksnowman takes stuff from his targets and gets info that way.

    Dazz is a dumb/paranoid cop.

    EddieColeslaw gets info somehow.

Eenuh has been found to get energy by talking and can apparently both be helpful and harmful, whatever these things mean.

    mr-paul is a reverse tracker.

Nintendohnut has a double vote and can redirect members of the police and get a copy of their result.

Sprout appears to be a competent cop who had a fluke, Supergrunch, which was later discovered by Tales to be just that, a fluke - we're guessing a redirection.

Tales gets info somehow and is untargettable.

Zell is a roleblocker who knocks people over the head.
