Right first of i just want to say im not going to discuss my personal views as to what i said i would once do in regards to the BNP. I changed my mind due to a couple of factors and it dosent need to be dragged out in another thread. The first point. The BBC have a duty to allow him to speak. As long as he dosent say anything illegal (which i doubt he will) then there isnt an argument to stop him in a free democracy. Again it might be inherrently racist party but it has a legal front. And is 'quite' well supported. They cant stop a legitamtate party from saying its piece. As long as its all legal. No the freedom of speach does not give them the right to say what they think. If it did they would say far far worse than what they do now.

Are you sure? I always thaught under the data protection act you were legaly allowed to make one copy of any media you purchased. As long as it was as a back up or a working copy. And that you didnt distrabute or edit the data.

I dont thin you are missing anything. I think there argument is that they are selling a product and that means it can be sold on again. Yeah i will give you that. The sentances i have seen in the press have seemed totally slanted when compared to many other crimes. But then i think many crimes arnt punished anywhere near enough. But yes unless people were burning these cds and selling them at a large profit the fines imposed do seem excessive. My bold your not playing by the rules thats the point. I have a HD tv but im not in a rush to buy a player. The discs are jus to dear. I mean i bought the simpsons movie for £3 today on dvd. I hardly ever pay over a fiver unless it something i really really want. I dont doubt blue ray is better. But i just dont think DVD is bad.

Well my logic was in the fac that they have placed it up on the internet for you to use as many times as you wish when you wish to view it. So having it on your laptop is still wrong. I just feel less wrong as its not really any different to loging in to youtube and watching it there any way.

It probably is wrong and probably against the terms of use of you tube. But it is not really as moraly wrong as downloading albums as the companys have put those videos online for people to access at any time for free anyway.

No there are plenty of TV shows that show what we are doing out there. And why we are doing it. This program shows the human side and the cost for those who do not make it back in one piece. And how there lives are changed forever by something that took place on the other side of the world. This program didnt need to focus at all on what we do out there. Just the 2 lads in question and there familys.

Its hardly the same. You need a house or at least shelter you would not last very long living without either. The poor kids dont need toys. But its nice that they should have them. If these people are that poor then maybe they should sell there PC and stop paying for broadband then thye could afford to buy CDs. I cant afford loads of stuff, that dosent mean that i should have them. Im poor and i just go without. Had to use it at the first chance i got haha But theft a copy right infringment are not basic human rights so dont complain when companys start taking you or other people to court. You can choose to steal or infringe on copyright laws that dosent mean that you can do so with out doing time/paying back large sums of money. The only person who is a hater is you. I think my Ipod has about 14gigs on it. Most of it ripped from cds i bought 10 years ago. And a lot of legaly downloaded free dance music.

Well if your poor go without. You dont need music in your life. Ok some people wil say they do but in reality you dont. Or you could make do with a lot less than 80 gigs of it. Being poor does not justify it.
