hey just wondering if any1 can help me. Lately my xbox has seemed a bit funny, the time on it never keeps at all, it always resets to 12 whenever i turn it back on it, and on top of that its not registering my wireless network adapter at all (the light is orange on the adapter instead of green and everytime i test the settings it says its disconnected) Has any1 got any tips that could help me out? i see achievement points as an extra bonus to games, i never really set out to get them. Probably explains why i only have about 400 lol

As the title suggests i'm wondering how do people play their games? ( no smart comments sayin with a console n controller please :P) The reason i ask, is that i've been reading over the super mario galaxy thread lately, and i noticed that alot of people really got through the game quickly. Now i've had the game since launch day, and i think i'm only about 25 stars in to the game, its not because im rubbish or i've not had the time, i just tend to always play in short bursts and enjoy the game fully, i think mario 64 took me about 5 months to get all 120 stars because i played it like this. So really i'm jus kinda wondering what gamer you are, the kind like me who fully takes everything in and doesn't rush it, or the kind that gets through it as soon as possible

They don't support WPA PSK which is shit I'm a bit confused by that, im still trying to get y head around all this networking thing! At the minute my brother has the broadband installed in his room, and has a router there. I use a belkin usb dongle to wirelessly connect my pc to the net. Am i right in thinking if i buy the 360 wireless bridge, i can just connect my 360 to the interent connection, in the same way my pc connects?

Has anyone got one of these? I'm thinking about getting one, just wondered if they are any good? Also does anyone know the cheapest place to buy one? Thanks

I'm a big football manager fan as well, my pc is really old though so the newer versions tend to go really slow on my pc. At the minute i'm playing champ manager 01/02 with 06/07 player updates!! Its great If i get football manager 08, it'll probably be on the xbox 360. has anyone ever played it on the 360? if so is it as good as the pc version?

Thanks for all the help from ppl. I finally got my xbox today. Got a deal from gamestation which included the xbox elite, forza with an extra wireless controller, and blue dragon! It should have cost £315 but i got it for £198 because i traded in loads of old game i never play on anymore. Not to keen on forza at the minute, hopefully it'll get better. Blue dragon seems pretty solid at the minute though, looks like i could really get in to it. I've just gotta figure out how to get my xbox on xbox live wirelessly now

And the only thing tempting me to the elite is the bigger hard drive, but i wont be downloading movies or anything, so i think i should be alright with the premium

Hi I've never owned an xbox or 360 before but i am looking in to buying one now! I've been looking at getting the premium console from play for about £220 and the new pro evo game when it comes out, but beyond that i dont have a clue what else to get with it. So my main question is, can anyone reccomend any good games, accessories, or bundles, and where the best place to get them from is? Thanks in advance

Setting stuff up like this always is difficult mate, i had alot of troubles whne i set up an all day gig for chairty a while back. £2 entrance fee seems a fair price to charge to be honest!

I agree with you on the karts thing, i'd prefer the real karts as opposed to the GC style ones. I think online play is essential in this title, it could really give the wii a big online boost, and seems like the perfect title for online play. I hope they put 2 lots of control methods in the game 2, id love controls like excite for truck this title, that'd rock! apart from that, im just hoping for lots of tracks and weapons, and the general quality you come to expect from a mario kart title

This happened to me with diddy kong racing on the ds mate, bought the game but got no stars! I contacted nintendo about it thought and explained the situation, and they sent me a code for some stars in an email. So if you didnt get any stars wiht the game i'd email nintendo!

I think its stupid that this game has been banned to be honest, i dont see this game having anymore of an effect on people than say a movie like Hostel. I think at the worst it should have been given an 18 rating!

yeah a ds version would be good, i do love the idea of all 4 of them on the wii though! I used to love all the old point and click games, day of the tentacle was another fave of mine, did lucas arts make that as well?

What do people think the chances are of seeing a new monkey island game on the wii in the future? I for one would love it if it happened! I think it'd be perfectly suited to the wii and its controls

We'll probably end up getting a ps2 port with added waggle controls in about 8 months

I ended up getting one in the end, and i love it! Playing Donkey Kong on the virtual console with the game cube controller was a real pain, but with the classic controller its really easy It took me back to the good old days of gaming. Since i've bought the pad i've been playing donkey kong 1 and 2 non stop, well until today that is when i got mortal kombat, which the pad is also great for! Thanks to everyone for replaying in this thread, and giving me their views on the controller

I bought this before and have played it for about an hour or so. First thing i did was the training mode with the wiimote, and i must say i found it a little tricky to be honest. So i popped my classic controller in, and played the arcade for a little while, and i must say its really fun! I've not played any mortal kombat games since the original on the snes, so its really good seeing old charcters and what not! I know theres loads more on the game i havent tried out yet, so i'm looking really forward to all that! I might even have bash at it later again with the wii controller. Anyway all in all, i'm pretty impressed, if your worried about the wii controls not workin, then dont! Sure i found them tricky, but you might not, plus you can always use the classic controller on it like i did and still enjoy the game

Had a good go on it before, and i must say that i'm really impressed. It took a little while to get used 2 the shooting at first, but now i've sussed that out im really enjoying it. Its easily worth the £4 i paid for it. Has anyone else got any good cheap cube reccomendations? I neve really fully utilised my cube when i had, but i'm really getting in to cube games now on my wii! so any good cheap titles would be good

I've just bought this from the above site because i've heard a few good things about, it came today so hopefully i'll get a good few hours on it later, hope its worth it

Cheers for the quick replys, one of the things that was putting me off getting a classic controller was the analogue sticks, they just didnt look right were they was for some reason. Think i'm gonna order anyway, i do play alot of snes games, so it seems like it could be a worth while purchase

Hey everyone Been a long time lurker in these forums and love reading the discussions that go on here, so thought id start to join in, so first off hello 2 everyone. And as for the point of this thread, i just basically want to know if the classic controller is worth purchasing? I've seen it on hmv website for about £11 and i do find it difficult to play some vc with the gamecube controller, is the classic controller alot better, or is it just a waste of money?
