I remember defending that decision when Owen scored in the 97th minute. There was a goal and 2 subs I think, so I thought it was right to play that long. It's not that they score late goals, it's that they're given so much time to do so with over-generous additional time.

Yeah i thought fergie time was when they're given more minutes than there should be. Those penalty stats don't tell the whole story though, there's alot more than just that.

Aquilani has been quality. Playing behind the striker he's been decent enough. He just oozes class, and has tremendous vision. He's the type of player you need when playing against the 'park-the-bus' teams. He can produce that one little piece of magic to unlock a defence. I hope we keep him, but it's looking likely he's off back to Italy.

Paying £17mil for a goalkeeper who's 20 is pretty good value. Who knows, he could spend his whole career there, that'll mean scum getting 15 years out of him, probably more.

Bit late, but I've listened to this many times since humans were exposed to this. None of those times were because I actually wanted to listen to it, it was other people. Ofcourse, but I wouldn't be upset if Liverpool lost in it. As long as my team performed reasonably well, I'd be content. Players are paid massive amounts, they should give 100% in every game they play in, whether it's the Champions League final, or a friendly away to Luton.
