That's the thing. When we signed our 25m a year deal with Warrior, it was the highest in the league and only bettered by Barca in the world, but you know when United get a new deal, it will blow ours out the water. 30m in a few years will not be that much compared to the other teams.

I'll be rooting for the absolute legend that is Roger, as usual. He's a wonderful man and player, real joy to watch.

I believe that they can spend what they want. I'm sure that everyone has 3 seasons to breakeven? I might be very wrong, but it's supposed to basically make teams spend only what they can afford and actually make in revenue. I don't think teams are taking it seriously, and i doubt UEFA have the balls to do something as extreme as throw a team out the Champions League.

The game isn't fun for me anymore, i outplay the other team in midfield and attack easily, but my defence will be 1 or 2 less and i'll lose. It's doesn't seem to matter how good your midfield or attack is, it just doesn't seem to be enough to break down any kind of defence that isn't terrible.

You get it spot on for me. I feel abit let down, as the club and the fans have defended and supported him through some really bad times. We will miss him badly if he goes, he carried our attack in the games he played in.

I'd love to see Wisdom and Kelly get a chance at CB, seeing as it's their actual position. Even Sama is getting closer to a chance, he was on the bench for one of the latter games if i remember right. We have so much young talent, if just half of them reach their potential, we will have a very good squad.

He's there to try and fill the space Carra has left. He's a good leader with experience playing at the top level, I'd be surprised if he stayed longer than the 2 years he's contracted to.

Solid free signing. We will be getting in a younger CB aswell, most likely Papadopoulos from Schalke. If we sign him and a winger, I'll be happy, but I reckon there'll be 1 or 2 more, as I'm assuming they'll be no outgoing.

The first game of my title winning season is a nice win. Tough game next up though.

I don't understand when people say it should only be champions. Should we throw Real Madrid out then? You can't compare football to the Olympics at all. The EPL is given 4 slots, Arsenal finished 4th, they earned it. You're ok with 3rd getting in, but why is 4th getting in so preposterous?

So a team that has won a handful of games deserves to play in the best club competition while the team that has been better over 38 doesn't? For me, only the very best from each country should be playing in the Champions League. Arsenal were the 4th best team over 38 games, they deserve it.
