I don't like how it is, but there's no point ignoring it. Suárez knows if he feels contact and goes down he has a good chance of winning a free kick/penalty. Why hate on him? Hate the bullshit refereeing, take it out on them.

That's not even the same. If he's fouled (which he is alot) he should be awarded a free kick, don't you agree? He never gets them. I'm not saying that's why he deserved the pen, and i never did say that. I don't get why people moan when players are awarded pens when there's contact. It's how the game is now, and that's how Suárez won a pen.

It's funny. Suárez gets kicked for 90 mins all the time and he gets fuck all, and then he gets a very soft penalty with minimal contact. Refereeing is fucking awful, really.

We played badly today. There was defo contact for the pen @dazzybee is talking shite as usual.

He's still a good player and a great player for us to have in our squad. His arse may have doubled but he's still pretty quick for a CB. :p

Our results have been very good when Suárez hasn't played. As long as we have Sturridge we still looked good. We have great depth at CB. Sakho has been great, Skrtel, Agger and Toure are all really good defenders too. We're abit thin at fullback, Johnson has been really poor this season and Enrique is solid i guess. We've been linked with Montoya from Barca, so that'd give us some depth/competition. We're in need of a top CM. Lucas is fantastic, Allen and Hendo are improving all the time, but still have areas to improve in. Gerrard is very hit and miss (mostly miss) these days. Alberto has barely had a go, and Coutinho is always out on the left. Perfect January would involve a fullback, cm and a winger for me. Salah is apparently close, and Tello has been a target for ages, so hopefully we can get them done.

I never said everything goes against us. We had a brilliant chance against city taken away because of a piss poor call, and again we have been denied a penalty we could have scored and equalised. It hurts more because it's away to really good teams. It's hard enough as it is to get a result at Stamford Bridge, so you want to be awarded penalties when your players are fouled in the box. Like I said, an equaliser would have given us a decent point against a team we're right up there with, so it's disappointing.

Why bring it up then? Lucas grabbed his shirt, after Oscar flew in late and 2 footed. He's really not scummy in the slightest, like Oscar isn't, it was just a horrible challenge at the time that could have caused a bad injury.

Because that was last season. How on earth can you use that to justify us being robbed of a penalty that could have got us a crucial point against a rival?

Suárez is the best player in the league by a mile. It's a myth that he goes missing in the big games. He's scored against them all. United, City, Arsenal, Chelsea etc.

We played well yesterday, deserved a draw at least. That offside call was pathetic, was a mile onside. Sakho is a monster. Yeah he had that dodgy spell, but he's such a dominant defender, and he's only 23. Top player.

I think some perspective is needed here. If Spurs would have won, they'd have gone level on points with us. I like AVB, i rate him, i just think he needed some time. He had how many new players this season? 7/8?
