I don't think Brendan could purposely set up the team to be happy with a point at Anfield. It's against his whole mentality that he's trying to implement, and doing so well at the moment. From his first Liverpool press conference: “I’d rather lose a game trying to win it, than lose it trying not to get beat” & "I want to use the incredible support to make coming to Anfield the longest 90 minutes of an opponent’s life. That’s the idea."

How can you be a manager and not have a philosophy? You HAVE to have a way of playing, a mentality and an identity. Brendan Rodgers doesn't have a history of winning or much experience at all, but he has a very clear and very strong philosophy that he's got everyone behind. That's much more important than reputation or experience.

So many people these days think you can only be an owner if you have billions to spend on players, and totally miss the importance of living within the clubs means and being self sustainable through marketing/sponsorships/generally increasing revenue.

A heavy fine for them would have to be in excess of £1bil though. :p

Football can be played however you want, but the style Chelsea play doesn't interest me at all and is incredibly dull. That's just me, others enjoy those kind of performances, which I respect, it's just not for me, that's why I'd prefer an attacking and exciting team to win.

They had a couple of penalty shouts, but we had one or two aswell. It was such a fantastic game of football, it'd be sad if Chelsea won the league, as they lack any creativity whatsoever and their fans are scummiest of the scum.
