I'm currently in the process of sourcing a new ISP. Currently using AOL. I am paying for a 2mb connection but sadly only get 512 if I'm lucky! After a brief bit of research Virgin Media does seem appealing. Unfortunately I am unable to get Sky as my landlord won't allow me to put a dish up! Anyone here on Virgin? Opinions? Cheers!

I am currently looking into buying an xbox 360/ps3 mainly for PES2008, problem is I believe my current tv is only 50hz, and I know for sure PES on the '360 requires 60hz, does anyone know if the ps3 version is the same or not? I currently have my Wii running on 50hz mode, and have changed the 60hz setting to see if it works, and in game it seems fine, although text is a lot less clearer, does this mean my tv is compatible or not? I've also noticed a large number of 360 games state the 60hz is required to play, but have not noticed anything simular on the PS3? For the record a new tv is out of the question for the time being. Hope someone can answer my questions Cheers

Agreed 100% Great game, just pure and simple fun! (and not in an OTT sense like Mario Strikers) Multiplayer is a great laugh when you have 2 people swinging their arms everywhere! If anyone is sitting on the fence with this game, hesitate no more and get down to your nearest store!

Wasn't Mario Strikers like that for the 1st week or so also? I expect the lag to settle down after a few days.

Thanks for everyone who has posted their opinions on this so far. I'm really undecided, from what I can gather, the controls seem to hold up well once you get used to them? For anyone who has played PES6 and this, how do they compare for multiplayer? I've not played FIFA since 2002, and have always purchased PES, but I'm tempted with this, altho I may just get PES2008 on the PS2

I have a Wii due to my loyalty to Nintendo and my love of Mario, Zelda and countless other characters and games. Sadly I don't feel that Fifa will be a game that really makes the most of the Wii's unique controls, and that any "waggle" will soon become tiresome, certainly on a game that will get such a large amount of game play in my household. The videos I've seen have failed to convince me otherwise, of course I will wait for the reviews, but I can't see me buying this.

I find it varies on what games you play. If your mainly going to be playing NES and SNES games the classic controller is by far better than the 'Cube one. Although if you plan on playin N64 games the analogue sticks and overall layout of the 'Cube pad feels far more natural and on the whole is generally a lot better for the '64 games
