  1. Do you wear weight lifting gloves? They might help. Also try using weight lifting straps like these: They help a lot with grip and don't cost much. Also a friend suggested to me once lifting the bar with opposite grip, like one hand on top of the bar and the other under. However when I tried that it felt 2 awkward when lifting.
  2. As I have only done it the once, I didn't really pay much attention to how long I was resting before doing my next superset but I did try to keep it to a minimum, maybe two/three mins. Thanks for the tip regarding press ups, but tbh honest at the moment I struggled with doing the amount he said on my second and third set straight after doing the squats but it's something I am sure I will get better with in time.
  3. Star Trek: DS9 Season 1
  4. Argh, I really want to get this but my common sence is telling me to wait... (still playing through Skyrim (Mario 3D Land). :hmm
  5. RESIDENT EVIL 6 OMFG *Calms down* The Leon section of the trailer did look better than Chris's section. But res is an interesting one for me because I LOVE RE: REMAKE and zero etc style of survival horror but then I have also loved the more action style of res 4 & 5. Some ppl seem to really dislike 5 but I loved it, like @Aneres11 (we did it together) completed it on 360 & PS3 getting all standard achievements on platinumed it. The co-op nature of that game made it great in it's own right.
  6. Hmm, Bit hard to put them in order but I'm gonna say Star Trek Wrath of Khan First Contact Voyage Home Undiscovered Country Generations Search for Spock Nemesis Insurrection Final Frontier Motion Picture There is hardly anything in the top three, they are my three favourites so they are pretty much all number one
  7. *Whispers* He has done a lot of 'super sets' one activity followed immediatly by the next, he says it will maximise fat burn etc. And even though I can lift heavier weights, that is for power where he said lower weight high reps is suited for toning and burning. - Squat Press with a bar with 20KG on, 15 reps and straight after 10-12 press ups. 3 Sets of that. - Incline Chest press with 16-18KG dum bells, 15 reps of that and straight after 15 bicep curls of 10KG. 3 Sets of that. - Lat Pull down wide grip with 42.5KG 12 times and straight after same weight but close grip 12 times. 3 Sets of that. - Then row for 1000M/1500M - 12 Crunches, straight away 12 Russian twists and straight after that 12 bicycle crunches. 3 sets of that. Legs are killing me today (that will be the squat presses) and I couldn't quite do all the sets etc but he said to except that but to work towards and by the end of six weeks I should be able to np.
  8. Part of me really wants to get back into this.... but I dont think it's going to happen till I am done with Skyrim By the time that comes around looks like I will have a far amount of dlc to play through at least!
  9. I think the original series is good, very cheesy at times but I still enjoyed it. Rewatched them the other year. Some of their films were fantastic as well, such as 2 & I loved the comedy from 4. TNG is one I loved, I think they are probably my favourite crew, except Troi grated a bit at times, oh and Wesley started to get annoying. Rewatched them all the other year. From the films First Contact is by far the best TNG film. DS9 I remember watching that when I was a kid (back in the days when Star Trek used to be on BBC2) but I can't remember a lot about it now. I'm going to start watching through them very soon I think, amazon seem to have each boxset for about £10 each. Voyager is another I loved, Don't really know why some people dislike it And finally Enterprise is one I only watched one of two but never got into it...
  10. So after my success last year I have started this year now... Had a free session with my mums PT who had wrote me out a program to do for six weeks, which he said should help lose some fat and tone up. He has told me to do it three times a week and do cardio whenever possible. I did my first session of it yesterday though and my legs are killing! Quads are soooo sore. I had my body fat done on a machine and it said I have 23.3%, which the PT and my mum said were lower than they were expecting. It gave my weight a bit higher than I thought it was but he has told me to ignore BMI completly as I am tall and have quite a large frame. I had been going the gym for a few months before and have increased lean muscle in arms, shoulders etc. My main goal now is to tone up some more and lose some more fat in the progress (hopefully).
  11. Friend of mine has had a few tatoos, he loves them, he has had one on his chest and said it was no where near as painful as when he had a sleeve done on his left arm which went on the under side of you arm (tricep area)...
  12. Even though I have just wished it u on facebook I may as well do it here as well... Happy birthday!
  13. I think although they share the same name they were different. As voyagers was a defence against Borg etc and I am assuming a lot more advanced. Also, thinking about it, didn't the borg adapt to the Ablative armour at the end of Endgame? I know the Borg in that ep were destroyed (with the queen) but the borg are a collective thought so wouldn't the adapted info still be there meaning the Federation would be unable to use it again anyway.
  14. Went on a mini film buying spree: Knight and Day (DVD) £3 The Green Hornet (Blu ray) £6.99 Black Swan (Blu ray triple) £9.95 Paul (blu ray) Part of 2 for £12 Shutter Island (blu ray) Part of 2 for £12
  15. The Ablative armour wasn't used after voyager series as far as they have given away. Star Trek Nemisis is set after Endgame (you know this as you can see Janeway as an admiral talking to Picard via comm link). The only thing to be set after Voyager I think. Surely the Enterprise-E being the flag ship n all that would be covered in it first! Either they could not adapt it to other ships, federation decided to destroy it as it is technology from the future they shouldn't have with the temperal prime directive n all that etc etc As Happenstance says there is many reasons they could use really.
  16. So anyone who had been following or taking part in the weight loss thread last year will already know this but yesterday was my one year 'anniversary' of the day I decided to try and start losing weight. I managed to lose about five and half stone, most of it was done within eight months tbh and I have been maintaining since. Still want to lose some more and tone up etc but it makes me feel good thinking about the year and looking at pictures etc
  17. Awesome! Glad you managed to get them back! Yeah I don't like the idea of it really but I just can't not get it, if I was to lose my no claims then my premium would be £1900, which is a darn site more expensive for the year! I'm hoping once i'm over the age of 25 my insurance will go down a bit more because I wont be in the 'young male' category anymore and if I was to make a claim then my premium would not go up as much.
  18. Ah balls, technology eh!? Hope you can recover them in the end! A 2010 1.6 Vauxhall Astra SRi Petrol: (This isn't my exact car' date=' googled it) [img']http://www.autoweb.co.uk/compupix/vauxhall-astra-hatchback-petrol_2030440.jpg[/img] My insurance has gone up even though no claims have also gone up, my insurance would only be like £570 ish if I didn't have the no claims protected - alias they help keep my premium down!
  19. I have had communication errors on Resident Evil: Mercenaries but not anything else like Mario Kart. And yeah I have had a street pass going into GAME and I think I had one GENUINE street pass when I was in Chester, sooo not many! :p
  20. Did you get all your photos back? You must be Adobes favourite customer! But yeah 'necessary' purchases suck.
  21. Crazy indeed! My current insurer quoted me almost £900! I told them where 2 go!!! I mentioned that quote but they didn't seem prepared to match it.
  22. £662.50... Thats with 6 years no claims but protected (fully comp). Can't afford to lose that no claims and have my premiums shoot back up!
  23. Just 'purchased' something that doesn't make me happy... Car Insurance!
  24. @Rummy I have never had a problem connecting my 3DS to a wireless router. Does other wireless devices work fine in your house? Hardly ever get streetpass hits, except when I see @Aneres11 ! :p Don't recall ever having the other problem you described either.
  25. I didn't know what I thought of the game at first but after awhile I just grew to love it, and I got all the collectables so I'm sure you can! :p But yeah the amount is insane. I never had a problem with loading the game like your's... and my sister is playing my copy on her 360 now and she hasn't had any problems online either. I'm trying to remember but I think objective markers should appear on your map when your inside a building by bringing the map up but ony if you have an objective, like I remember trying to leave the sewers and couldn't remember how to get out, no markers for that.
