Ive been enjoying the hell out of this game, its pretty hard, often im stuggling just to get to 2nd place but the game as a whole is very well put together, looks and sounds great and is a lot of fun.

I have to ask purely because i have the PC version from a while ago and havent installed it yet. Is the dlc available for this game or is it ever coming? Id like to pick it up but only if i can get the full package.

Wait...so does that mean the likes of Netflix and Lovefilm will also be restricted? I only briefly tested Netflix the other day but does that mean i wont be able to watch horror or action movies outwith these house because that really would frustrate the hell out of me.

I got a reply finally from Ubisoft but it was just to tell me to install the latest WiiU firmware update...which of course ive already done. If they come back with anything more constructive ill post it here but with all the other random freezes happening it might be an actual hardware fault..

Thanks for the information Serebii, i may not like it but if they are choosing to run our eshop from Germany i guess we are stuck with it. It would be nice if Nintendo showed that they understood that the laws of Germany are not the laws of Europe, i agree with what the others have said in that we should have a seperate Nintendo HQ for everyone that isnt German, i know its selfish but i want to be able to buy games when i feel like playing them. There has to be another way for this to be handled but then..thats kind of on Nintendo to do that and prove they have the needs of core gamers at heart. If they leave this as it is a lot of people (not me) are going to get annoyed and move on, Nintendo need the sales and they need to be able to prove to third parties that any game can sell on their machine which sadly just wont happen right now.

Id really love to see Nintendo buy up Sega, i actually thought they would have done it long ago when Sega first started having issues back in the Gamecube days. As far as i know they did try to team up first with Microsoft when the dreamcast was on its last legs and then to Nintendo but neither company was interested. Disney is swallowing up everyone at the moment, i think its more likely that with them already having bought up Marvel (for comics and movies), Lucas (for games and movies), they could probably make some use of Sega too, they have in the past published some games based on Marvel properties so it would seem like a good fit.

Thats a fair point...i guess its not like i have a shortage of good games to play right now anyway, ill maybe hold off.

Isnt Microsoft's european Xbox Live run from Germany too? When four (yeah four...) of my Xboxes died i had to send it over there to get repaired and when i called their Q&A hotline it diverted to a free German number. Even if this isnt the case, the law of the country you live in always over rides any other regulation, so they only have to limit the german users and not everyone else. It is unfortunately a loop hole that a lot of file sharing sites based in Nordic countries get around being shut down.

Wondering if i should buy on PC or WiiU now, i have a few friends over in the states, might just ask them to gift it to me, folks have already started adding the exclusive Nintendo characters on their own by the looks of things. Why on earth wasnt this out at launch?

Nice tip! I only have two wii motion + enabled pads, one with the add on and one of the Zelda ones, might see if i can find a couple of different colours for when everyone wants to play Mario.

Ah come on, Blur was actually a lot of fun and Blood Stone was at least okay, didnt think much of the Club or Geometry Wars though.

The trailers i dont care about, Nintendo and everyone who makes games now have their own youtube channel which i can access any time of day even on the WiiU gamepad so seems a bit of a stupid thing to put in place. Restricting the purchase of games and dlc however is totally unacceptable, we have family filter controls, we provided our age and you can password protect each user account with a different password. I dont want my 13 year old step son playing 18 rated games, but why am i not allowed to buy the games for my own account? This is short sighted and the press will rip them apart on this which will put people off buying the machine. On Xbox Live i can lock down my step sons account so that it wont play games over a 15 cert, so why isnt this a feature for us? If Germany is such a huge issue then treat them as a different region like they do with China and Korea, dont lump us all in these stupidly strict laws. For the record im usually the guy sticking up for everything Nintendo does but i literally cant bring myself to even try with this.

That was a pretty awesome event, writing up about the games i enjoyed brought back a lot of good memories, will definetly be replaying them again on the WiiU going forward. All in all i think we got a fantastic list, if anyone asks me why i bought the original Wii i now have a link i can send them to ^_^

Havent gotten all that far due to my crashing issues, with the crossbow bolts can you recover them from the Zombie corpses after killing them or are they gone after being used?

Im beginning to think the internet thing is just a coincidence, it drops fairly often around 2am and then does it around a further 3 times, BE claim its supposed to do that but i think the hubs on its way out lol. Its a damn frustrating issue, i havent tried playing since the patch but others have had crashes since then so dont think it did anything to fix stability in game.

Turns out that the uplay app synced with my existing pc/360 account eventually so was able to buy everything for ZombiU already, 100 points which i can only assume i got playing Assassins Creed or Splintercell...

Id suggest buying points cards if you have expiring stars but they have only gone and removed them from the store. Im assuming they are adding in the new cards that work for 3ds and WiiU, hopefully they are still compatible with the Wii store as i still have a few virtual console games i want to buy.

I bet you can and they just burst into lego bricks! Im looking forward to this game, when i first heard about it you could physically hear me rolling my eyes but it genuinely seems to be well written and a lot of fun, i might even buy the lego that goes with it for the secret code...

Getting this game for Christmas, cant wait to get on there with you guys and hopefully move up from an okay-ish player to a decent one, half the battle is finding fun people to play with and get constructive feedback from. Ill make sure ive got that turtle beach headset before i start too ^_^

@Nando - yeah, all working now as Andyliini said, i originally had issues playing the original super mario bros and it now works fine.
